Stopped by this morning, on my walk home from a nearby appointment. The sign, outside, advertising today's soup (Red lentil with mint a a touch of Lemon) had my mouth watering. Bought some for lunch but bought the Fruit and Seed square to have with my morning coffee. It was perfect!!

Awesome spot! The food is fresh and wholesome—just like they claim. No gimmicks, and the service was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I tried their breakfast option (Egg Frittata), and the portion size was just right. On top of that, the place has plenty of seating and a great vibe with some nice background music.

This place is a hidden gem! I am obsessed with all of their daily soups! Its a must stop in for lunch.

Healthy enough -- as advertised. Didn't taste to me like fresh baked bread though and for the price, I had hoped to be at least a little impressed. Just not wowed by bland flavours, tiny panini sandwich. OK sencha. Quiet place. Staff seem nice.

This little cafe is a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, and the food is comforting and tasty. They have many vegan and gluten-free options and everything is delicious. Their gluten-free muffins are incredible. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend The Healthy Owl.

Great food and people. A true hidden gem

This is a hidden gem in the industrial park of Waterloo.
I'm not vegan but I enjoy the unique menu items and there is no other spot like it. Friendly, welcoming and unpretentious.
