The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Waterloo

Had dinner Saturday, haven't been in over 15 years cause didn't find it worth it then dont find it worth it now.
Staff were very unorganized and there was a high lack if moral and teamwork. Floor management had no interest helping but was quick to give servers dirty looks and be on them if they weren't on stuff.
We sat at the bar to start. Would love to know how a double whisky sour is only 10$
But they charge 4.50 for a small pop...horrible upcharge
When seated. Server didn't make any effort for care cause there was no team work so she was bussing tables and serving which shouldn't be in such an establishment. Host staff should be clearing tables
We weren't checked on. My spouse had to go to the bar to get a second drink. Only got asked if I wanted a refill on pop as we finished dinner. I nursed it cause she walked by saw my gf had a sip left in her Martini and I had a couple in my pop so no offer for anything else.
Food was delicious all around. But calamari was the only thing priced fairly.
Beef mains are over priced fir what u get. I understand charging a fair amount for triple A Beef but dont be cheap on the non expensive things. Little bit of poorly done mashed and onion frits
Mrs tenderloin had a bit more going on with rice and veg but definitely not impressed for 170$

What can one say? The Keg experience whether in West Vancouver, Winnipeg or Waterloo- mouth watering, juicy and tender steaks all across Canada!

Always consistently great food.
Steaks were cooked perfectly, compliments were delish, Billy Bishop pie is always a hit.
Staff was friendly and helpful and kept us on pace ☺️

This restaurant is outstanding! The staff is extremely polite, knowledgeable & accommodating. I had the New York striploin steak with two sides and all were done to perfection. I've dined here before and I hope to come back again soon!

This was my first time at the Keg Steakhouses I had the Keg burger. It was the best burger I've had in a very very very longtime, and the staff were amazing! I definitely will.go.back!

I went to the keg with my friend to celebrate her birthday and our server Holly was the absolute best! She was attentive and bantered with us a bit while also letting us sip and chat and enjoy our meal. My food was amazing (blue cheese filet with mushroom rice) whole my friends steak was perfectly cooked but slightly less flavourful than she remembers from other times there - really nothing to complain about!

The atmosphere was low key as it was a Wednesday, and the dining area was divided into sections that each felt cozy and intimate. It's too bad winter has hit, because the patio looks like a gorgeous spot as well.

I will definitely be back, and next time I'll remember to take pictures of the gorgeous space!

The Keg never disappoints for special occasions! We had the escargot and lobster bisque to start, followed by a top sirloin and prime rib as entrees (perfectly medium rare) with garlic mashed potatoes as sides and a complimentary birthday dessert! Service was good as well, our server checked on us frequently and service was prompt.
