The food was bad. Last time at the Works they were still cooking fresh; This time the burgers and chicken were clearly cooked from frozen. Dry and flavorless. Buns were soggy. I expect a lot better at $22 per meal. Our server was fantastic and showed a lot of kindness to our kids as they ordered.

The food is always good.
Unfortunately, the air freshener and wait person's perfume filled the air ith undesirable chemical scents which spoiled the experience form me.

THE WORKS is a must-try! Thier Juicy Lucy burger was phenomenal, and the Black Forest Cake Shake was the best one I had in soooo long. Expect a crazy amount of delicious fries and amazing sauces. The Saturday night vibe was great too. A solid 5 stars for this outstanding experience!

We used to come here a lot but it was so bad. The burgers were burnt and the service was terrible. I've never had such bad service. Two waitresses on one table and it kept messing up our order. I'll never come back

Ordered delivery through Uber Eats. First order had missing items. They cancelled my second order after a half hour wait. DO NOT order delivery from here.

Super good food just a bit on the pricey side

Wish I could rate higher but paying $30 for a burger meal where the burger was incredibly dry was a huge disappointment. Along with this our wait to order was extensive which made me decide not to ask to get it redone. However I was with a large group which I can understand. Everything else was, fine. The pepsi tasted watered down and the poutine was honestly my favorite part, even if it was hot gravy thrown on cold fries. My main issue was the dryness, this was a problem with everyone in the group I was with. Leave some juice in your burger! This was like eating sandpaper.

The food was ok. I don't recommend the deep-fried broccoli with the dip. It was pretty good. I don't understand the bottomless fries, as the plate was heaped with fries that eventually went cold. The one server there was doing her best, but she never asked if anyone wanted more fries 😆 If it is a true legit offer, then keep it on the menu otherwise 🤔 That being said, if it is left in the menu, first time delivery should be less and you would have to book another server i guess, so it should be removed. The kitchener works played actual rock music, and I'm not sure what the music was - pop. It was really annoying. I do miss the kitchener location. I'm not interested in emailing either. I'm just sad it's a sign of the times.

Got the blue cheese burger eith elk. Bangers, 10/10. Absolute perfection. I don't eat burgers often, but The WORKS for sure have one of the best burgers. The combination of blue cheese, bacon, and patty is out of this world. However, would have to say paying a few extra dollars for elk instead of beef wasn't worth it, just stick with beef. Also, good fries 7.5/10.

Place is a vibe. Toilet lowkey kinda creepy, but cool. Give the place a try!!!

The best burger and fries I have had in Waterloo! The staff were kind and generous to add dipping sauces, which were equally delicious!
