This is a great option for a good quality, sit-down meal on campus. The staff had some struggles understanding the drink orders and requests resulting in an incorrect drink order and quite a lot of time consulting with their co-workers to fix. They could use extra training on the menu as well. Even though it was a set menu they didn't have answers ready about the meal. Eg. What vegetables are with this? I think a little more training for the staff would have made this a 5-star experience as it was a delicious meal with great value on campus.

Definitely not the place for a first-year, but I understand the appeal for staff/faculty. It was a great ambiance for business or meeting up with an old friend. Service was so kind, and the food (Holiday Special) tasted fresh but under seasoned for my liking. I wish they specified that they only take flex dollar- as it's implied everywhere else on campus that “accepts WatCard” = apart of meal plan. Myself and my friend were not prepared to pay $40, which is why I wouldn't recommend it to a friend as you can get a more flavourful meal for $15 down the road.

Our server was very polite although inexperienced and slow on a very busy day. Food not as well-prepared or presented as pre-pandemic. Lovely setting and will give it another try after holiday rush
Food was outstanding as always. Service was extremely slow as always. Hoping you can speed things up--it was not very full, and few of us can spend more than an hour and a half for lunch on a normal work day. The noise levels seem to be much better so assume there is new soundproofing, much appreciated.

Enjoyed a fantastic holiday lunch buffet for the department. The food was delicious and plentiful! The service was attentive, accommodating, and very friendly. I've enjoyed many meals at the University club (always great and creative menu options) and I plan to enjoy many more.

Great place to wine and dine on campus providing you qualify for entry or go with someone who does.
Actually had a dance here in high school. Pretty nice building! There is an upstairs section as well.
