Ye's Sushi Waterloo Reviews
Have taken monthly trips to the Waterloo location over the last few years. depending on the person serving us that day is mixed. some have been very helpful, polite and professional. Other days the person is rude, does not communicate properly. Even goes so far as to rudely point at the food to quickly clean the last four eels so the person can quickly take it. Food has been brought to the table of not being ordered and when spoken up that it was not ordered. the person gets rude...read full review
Does not allow service animals and their handlers to enter the restaurant and claims it's just ignorance instead of taking true accountability. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse, and I pray you're fined for discrimination. Will never be a patron of your restaurant because of this.

Ye's Sushi Waterloo provides a diverse dining experience, with both positive and less favorable menu items. The quality of food varies, with dishes like the crab tempura roll, salmon sushi, and seaweed salad receiving praise, though some items such as the chewy tuna and questionable cocktails fall short. The restaurant features a more refined and culturally immersive atmosphere, reflecting traditional Japanese decor that enhances the dining experience. It remains clean and well-organized, and the tablet-based ordering system makes it easy to navigate the buffet-style menu. Customers appreciate the affordable all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi options and the variety of dishes beyond sushi, which keeps repeat visits interesting. The staff are consistently attentive and efficient, even if not overly warm or chatty. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers ample vegetarian options, including many meatless choices. One reviewer highlighted that the salmon and tuna are very fresh and taste good, though they noted inconsistency with fried spicy shrimp, which sometimes has more spice than other times. While some dishes like the seaweed salad may be slimy, overall, Ye's Sushi Waterloo aims to cater to a wide range of customers, from families to those seeking more ambiance and variety. The experience may vary, but it remains a good place for sushi lovers who want a mix of convenience and cultural charm.
