Welland Golden Grill Family Restaurant is a local favorite in Welland. The food is described as great, with portions surprisingly large and prices very good. Customers praise the service: servers are very nice, friendly and quick to offer condiments and utensils. The restaurant is clean, welcoming and has an old‑school vibe that makes guests feel at home. Breakfast is a highlight, with items such as home fries with fried onions and breakfast sausage, all very delicious. A birthday surprise of a carrot cake with a lit candle added a memorable touch. Many repeat visits are reported, and diners say they are never disappointed. While most reviews are positive, one customer noted a concern about a waitress’s attire, which led to disappointment. Despite that, the overall experience remains strong, with many families choosing the place for its good portions and always friendly quality food and friendly atmosphere.
