This place is a bit quirky, but the food is good, the service is friendly. Reasonable prices. Clean and tidy. The building is a bit odd. You walk through an empty area to the door of the restraunt. We were there on a sunday late afternoon, and soon after, several people arrived who were obviously regulars, and known by name, so I feel this is popular for locals. I had fish and chips, it was lovely. My daughter had a roast dinner she really enjoyed. A hidden gem.
We tried this restaurant after having seen the menu at Natterjack's Brewery in Eagle. I am a bit of a french fry addict and rarely find fries that are crispy outside, and creamy inside, with a nice flavour. The fries here are truly good and I had them all dressed. Tons of cheese with a side of sour cream, and very reasonably priced. The fries were excellent and worth the trip out from London. Always one of our favorite places to eat... Deb is a delight to see and so kind and helpful when I bring my kids... they love the handmade chicken fingers... fresh cut fries and soo much food for breakfast!!
