We can't say enough good things about the team at Evergreen Golf Course. Our group showed up with more than 20 guys for a bachelor party, all decked out in loud, matching Hawaiian shirts—and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day.
Organizing a group that size is no easy task, but Evergreen handled it with total professionalism and a great sense of humor. From check-in to our concluding meal, they were welcoming, patient, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed. You could tell they’ve dealt with groups like ours before, but they never made us feel like a hassle—in fact, they fully embraced the ridiculousness of it all!
The course itself was in fantastic shape, and the views are unbeatable, but what really stood out was the hospitality. Whether it was helping us get organized, keeping things moving, or just sharing a laugh, the staff made sure the bachelor party was smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable.
Huge thanks to Evergreen for putting up with our rowdy bunch and making the day one for the books. Special shout-out to Kendra, Eva, Grace, Harris, and Lauren, who went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back—and maybe with even louder shirts next time!

We didn’t get a chance to golf today, but we stopped in for lunch while in the area—and I’m so glad we did! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious and came out so fast. Such a lovely spot—can’t wait to come back for a full day on the course next time!

Wow. What a fantastic experience. The staff was so accommodating. The food was fabulous. Fresh and hot. The course is in great shape. This is a gem of a course. It was a challenging course and the greens were fast and perfect. All around a great day. Worth the drive to Westport. The owner is so welcoming. ( buy the sweatshirt. You won’t be disappointed !)
If you’re close to Westport drop in for a golf game, or enjoy a meal at the clubhouse taking in the amazing views of Wolfe Lake. The staff are friendly and sometimes you’ve got to go ‘where everybody knows your name’. There is nothing more beautiful than watching the sun rise and set through the willow trees at the 3rd hole. That said, sitting on the clubhouse patio overlooking the 9th hole you’ll know why Evergreen is our happy place - it’s truly magical and definitely worth a visit!
