Very accommodating, been stopping here for 0ver 30 years (remember the Esso days). Outstanding Poutine, burgers,pogos, fish&chips.. etc. Don't drive by, it's a must stop!

The fries had the potential to be poutine and fries our family ordered has the potential to be awesome but we're slightly undercooked. I'm sure the friendly staff would have offered to fix us a replacement order, but we had driven off before we noticed they were slightly undercooked. The gravy on the poutine was great. Definitely will be giving them another try and hope to update the review.

The fries had perfect flavour and were fried just right, soft and not overly greasy. Prices were very reasonable. Just passing through, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll give the poutine a try. Staff were also friendly and very accomidating.

I called this location, the man picked up the phone and said, "Yeah". . I asked if they sold worms, to which he replied, "Yeah". As I am looking for a specific type of worm I asked him if they are night crawlers or red wigglers.. To which he replied "I sell worms I'm busy bye" I had not patronized this business before and I never will.****To owners response***:How many Google reviews alone about that person's behavior are you going to tolerate?? You have said in several responses that you have addressed his behavior.... usually any employee would have been "Fired"... so my guess is that the rude employee is actually the owner...

Its absolutely amazing! Our family has a cottage on lake newboro & every yr on our way in our 1st stop is Scottys. Fantastic poutine, westport burger & fried pickles only few of my own personal favorites but plenty of options.

Waited 15 minutes for two orders of fries and it cost over 20$ with two drinks. I’d avoid.

THE NEW OWNER IS NOT FRIENDLY. BE CAREFUL. He has been cursing and swearing at customers and a female worker. Service is horrible. You feel like you are making him angry when you order... And don't bother asking for a drink after he gives you the amout to pay... God forbid you want to buy something extra.

BOYCOTT IMMEDIATELY!!! I just witnessed a ENRAGED bearded man with a blue cast (assuming new owner) verbally assault his 14-16 year old daughter in front of me and 4 elderly customers. Apparently she cashed out the cash machine.. Whatever that means. It's a chip wagon, 2$ hotdog, 4$ fry and a 1$ drink = $7... You give a $10 and get I get 3$ back... You don't need a machine. He yelled at her, got aggressive and she went off wither phone in tears. The 4 others left. I mentioned that they left because of the way he treated her. He said, I don't care. I said this is a chip stand bud, it's not that complicated. "oh there are a bunch of businesses on this property". I said, no there isn't. It's a chip stand. I'll be visiting again for sure.. But this time it will be to yank him out of the stand and feed him my knuckles. STAY AWAY.
This place is scary. The man who runs it is agressive and makes you uncomfortable. He swears, verbally abuses his staff. I've been coming here for years and used to be my favourite spot. Caution. I'M NEVER GOING BACK.
