My sister and I had lunch at Tangled Garden Cafe today -- Clubhouse Sandwich and Lobster Linguine. Both meals were excellent, and the service was great. Highly recommend.
Stopped for a quick coffee break on our long drive on a very cold and dark Sunday night.
We were greeted by a very nice young lady who welcomed us and made us feel so warm and bright.
Thank you for that ray of light on amazing welcome.

Not bad for a little greasy spoon. It was a busy morning, so the servers had a hard time keeping up, but the cook definitely rushed as the sausages were deep fried, and there was bits of chicken on our over buttered toast.

This was my first time ever visiting Westport and I really enjoyed this restaurant. I wanted to call out two servers specifically, Maddie and Meg. Maddie was our server. She maintained such a happy expression and atmosphere for us despite the obviously busy rush. I appreciated the conversation I had with her and I hope her leadership team expresses to her how valuable she is to the overall experience a guest has visiting this restaurant. Meg I just observed. She had amazing hustle and I loved what I saw. As a restaurant manger myself , I was thoroughly impressed with the hustle I saw and the problem solving. I really think ownership should be more involved with employee uplifting, and I feel like we could have seen much more support. Just know if I return, it’s for your servers, not for anything else. Please give them some much needed and deserved grace. You girls are doing amazing.

We were a group of 10 and our table was ready when we arrived. The service and the food were great.

We ordered a 1 piece fish and chip (wouldn’t order again. The fries were less than stellar and the fish wasn’t great) the buffalo chicken and onion rings however, were fire

The lasagna was good, a large portion, and the leftovers tasted even better warmed up the next day.

Come for a drive to Westport, ON and stopped at this restaurant. Menu is quite extensive. We got zucchini sticks to start and they were your basic store bought but nice and crispy with a spicy ranch dip. Then we got a small pizza which had a very thin crust and crispy outer crust.
The Nashville chicken sandwich was a bit disappointing. It was a great piece of chicken but definitely had zero spice to it and the breading didn’t really stick to it. The fresh fries were good as well.
The fish n chips came out very well done to the point of not being able to eat it.
If we ever come back to Westport, we’d definitely try some other place.

We had amazing food provided by tangled garden for a recent wedding. Delicious lasagna, chicken, veggie burgers, and pizza among everything else we ate! I highly recommend.

Awesome place to eat. We had the back patio to ourselves. The waitress was great. Great times, excellent food.

I grew up spending summers here. The staff at this restaurant was dismissive and we never even got drinks. Not the same family feeling I had when I was young. The blonde waitress with the glasses literally stood there staring at us rather than help. Sad.
