I would be playing pinball 7 days a week if the machines were better maintained. out of 8 machines you might find one that is playing properly. the leveling bubble is removed on every table so you cant check for yourself. last time i was here i played 6 machines with flipper issues before giving up and going home with leftover tokens. Im taking a break until they swap a few machines out.
In July 2022, I had the pleasure of attending 8-Bit Beans for my grandson's birthday celebration (at the Whitby location). He chose the venue, and it was such a great choice. I even played some retro arcade games, even though I usually consider myself "too old" for that stuff. The overall vibe is why I played the games. I felt like a kid again for just a little while. The snack bar has a menu with a little bit of everything. They specialize in coffee also. The retro games will sometimes snag a coin or two but the staff is extremely helpful to replace them no charge. This place is worth the drive. My son recommends the Sonic Dog for a snack. My daughter says grab a box of popcorn. Do try the coffee. Comfy, cute, Lil fun spot that's a nice little hidden gem to hang with friends. They have mocktails, cocktails, and lots of coffee. The specialty drinks are fun! The menu is surprisingly broad based on it being essentially an arcade.
