Tucked away in the corner of the plaza beside No Frills, Hunan Chinese Restaurant is truly one of Whitby’s hidden gems! This is one of those places that might be easy to overlook, but it is absolutely worth checking out if you’re looking for delicious Chinese food, generous portions, and fantastic value.

The best chinese food in whitby!
I ordered on UBER eats. Ordered the following: 1. sweet and sour shrimp. Shrimp were from from 2 different batches and one was burnt. Breading was overly salty. Both the shrimp and the sauce were cold. 2. Shrimp pad thai - tasteless except for the extremely hot pepper used in the cooking. Cold. 3. Stir fried broccoli, string beans and sweet pea pods. The bean and pea pods were cooked weel, but the brocolli was cut into huge pieces and was completely raw. It was cold. Terrible...read full review
