J7 ramen is the go to spot for delicious ramen in Whitby. The ramen is fantastic and the pork is the most tender we’ve had any ramen establishment. Pork shoyu and spicy pork are our favourites. Enjoyed coming here, I got the pork shio and it was very good. Lots of noodles and broth. I opted for an extra egg though they were big eggs so honestly one is good enough. I have had the quail eggs at another Ramen place and I think I prefer those, though these regular eggs are fine. The pork slices seem to be seared before they are added in and the flavour from them is SO good. We tried the dumplings with the spicy mayo sauce as well and they were delicious. Would come back here in the future.

Located in the centre of the little town. Warmly welcome by the owner. The store is quite and clean. The broth was ok and the noodle was cooked well. Loads of meat in the bowl. I believe this is the only Ramen in the town and nothing to complain, lol.

We were excited to try this place for the first time but unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectation. No parking lot so it was not ideal to park on the street with paid parking when you didn't even enjoy the meal. Sorry!
