Had a great meal. Cleaned my plate completely, as did everyone I dined with. Very home made feel. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was busy, but we got a table within minutes. Next time I'll make a reservation, it was Saturday night right at dinner time.

I have been coming to this location for a long time, we sadly dont get to frequent as often as we would like but every single time its a hit. The food is as authentic as ive come across in Ontario, the staff have always been excellent. A family run business and even though we haven't been here in over 2 years they remember my family. Its always packed here. If you looking to get a table you either have to be lucky or early. Bathrooms are clean albeit need an update. We will most certainly be back.

The best Mexican you know what one of the best restaurants I’ve Been to in about 10 years the food was amazing the service was amazing the atmosphere was amazing the drinks were amazing enough said The only caveat is the portions could be a bit bigger if you consider yourself a big eater And maybe some more complimentary chips and salsa

The waitresses were lovely, but I am baffled at the high ratings of this restaurant for everything else. I can only assume that because it’s more rural and perhaps most of the diners have not had other Mexican food that they think it’s good because it’s new and different to them? I feel bad saying it, but it tasted (and was presented) like cafeteria food that happened to be served at a place with Mexico in the name. Again the waitresses were so nice, but the man and woman behind the counter seemed shifty and gave us a funny look.
People of Whitby, if you want authentic Mexican cuisine, go somewhere else lol. I say this in the kindest way, but they are doing a dis-justice to their culture. If you walk into an ethnic restaurant and you don’t see that ethnicity eating there themselves, and everybody looks the same as you… that’s your sign to turn around and leave. I feel like they’re capitalizing on the fact that most people going there don’t know real Mexican food so are doing the bare minimum they can get away with. Drive somewhere further or you’ll think this is what all Mexican food tastes like and you’re really missing out.

This is my first time visiting Mexico Lindo, and I am absolutely blown away by the authenticity, food, and atmosphere here.
The servers were great, and you can tell just how much they care about their customers. You receive complimentary nacho chips and salsa, and their drink selection has something for everyone.
The food was absolutely amazing, I tried the Birria tacos and they were packed with love and flavour.
Will definitely be coming back to try everything else on their menu

This place is special because it is authentic food and service from top to bottom. It’s small but has many seats and can accommodate larger parties- just call ahead if you want a reservation..but small walk-ins should be no issue. The service staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. 4/5 for atmosphere because it was cold in the restaurant, probably because it is January and this restaurant is in an old building. The food comes out super quick - even my steak came out very fast. Chips and salsa were complimentary and very tasty. We had 3 kids meal, enchiladas with mole, and steak. All the food was amazing and good portion size. If you feel like Mexican food - skip the chain Tex-mex and come to Mexico Lindon.

This was my first time dining at the Mexico Lindo location in Whitby.
The meal I ordered was delicious; it was called the Tabasco, a spicy combination of beef burrito, chicken enchilada, rice and refried beans. It was served extremely hot, both food and plate (no warning on the plate being almost untouchable).
The servers ability to speak English was almost non-existent but we muddled through. There was no further interaction with the server after my meal was dropped off.
When I wanted to pay the bill, I was told to go to the cash by way of a head nod of sorts.
I had no idea that you do not get a bill at the table; I had been sitting for a bit waiting for one until I finally saw my server and received the head point
There are English speaking employees, I just didn’t get one
I would definitely return though, the food was great and the beer was cold
