Worst customer service. We went here today Dec 21,2024 and we discovered that we were charged GST HST when the government has announed that there will be no tax charged on dine in or take out food at the restaurant. This restaurant does not follow government rules. When dining, no one came to ask if we need to order anything else. One of the person working there was sweeping the floor while we were still eating. There was lack of hygiene. Food was not good. Never coming here again. I do not recommend this place.

By Far the best Mexican Restaurant in Durham! The staff are very polite, courteous and vibrant. The atmosphere definately makes you feel you are having dinner at a family members home very welcoming. The music takes you back to Mexico š²š½ š.

My family organized my 70th birthday lunch at Mexico Lindo. The staff was amazing- attentive but not hovering. The food was fabulous and authentic Mexican fare. We had an incredible time there and when dessert came, they sang Happy Birthday while I wore a sombrero and blew out my candle. We had so much fun! We'll definitely be back.

Food was the absolute worst Iāve had anywhere. We both got enchiladas. Obviously old and reheated. Rice in clumps. Beans from a can. Plate so hot from the microwave. It hit our table in less than 5 minutes. We were there for a total of 15 minutes. The whole time they were vacuuming in the same spot while just chatting it up. Gave up on the food. So bad. Service was alright. They didnāt have a chance to come back really. The complimentary chips and salsa was a tell to start. Store bought chips refried and drenched in oil. Salsa was atrocious. My wifeās sprite was the best part of the meal. Never again.

Both my husband and I got the enchiladas. He got beef, I got chicken. You could tell right away that it was reheated food. The rice was clumpy, the plate was scorching hot and the beans had a sort of film on it (You can tell the beans just come from a can). Plus, we sat down at 4:06 PM and our food was brought to us within 10 minutes. Thereās no way you make all that food fresh in 10 minutes. There was no one there because itās obviously an odd time but we were heading downtown so we wanted to catch an early bite. One of the ladies just vacuumed the whole time we were there which was very annoying to listen to. Nobody came by to see how our food was or ask if everything was OK or if we could use anything else. I didnāt have a napkin because the only napkin I was given I had to use for the salsa that spilled. Also, the salsa looked like it was strained - There may have been a total of two tiny pieces of onion so I donāt know if we got the bottom of a canned salsa or if thatās just how they make it. But it was a very lackluster, very bland salsa. The chips tasted like they were purchased in a store, greased up, and then fried. The complementary salsa and chips were pretty gross overall. All in all very disappointing because itās just down the street from us and weāve been looking forward to trying it since we moved here.
