Two people had fish and chips and really enjoyed them they asked to have it served on a larger plate which made the meal much more enjoyable. The chicken tenders were a large portion and were actually chicken not pressed chicken The brussel sprouts and calamari we tasty but we found them overpriced for an appetizer
Service was disappointing, despite our server being friendly and apologetic. Our appetizer order was missed — we were told it had been “dropped on the floor” and had to be remade — and there were long gaps between visits to our table. This is the second time I've received a $10 coupon as an apology for poor service and food quality. State & Main used to be a reliable mid-priced restaurant, but it has really gone downhill. Please do better.
Food was fine and as expected. Our waitress was super bland personality-wise and seemed like she couldn't care less. Zero enthusiasm. Lots of wasps and flies buzzing around, which became a little annoying.
