I’m normally not one to complain but this visit here was so odd. Me and my friend were the second ones in there and got served last. Everyone that came after us were eating and they had finally came to us to take our food order. We constantly had to wave down our waiter. She only came out of her way to check on us twice, which was when we first arrived & to take our food order. We were excited to try their new guacamole breakfast sandwich & it was NOTHING like they advertised. They don’t even have purple onion in it. And the sausage patty was undercooked. We also had a fruit bowl that we sent back (I literally never send things back)! It tasted like perfume. The server was nice but not attentive. Food was horrible. I always go to sunset grill, I was so confused of just everything.

This is my go to brunch spot every Sunday with my family! I love to try new things on the menu and it's always a hit and absolutely delicious. The staff are so kind and on top of everything. Highly recommend checking them out, it will be your go to as well! :)

I order here every morning...I'm in a wheelchair so I order on skip and it's always still hot when I get it and they even will cook the home fries and bacon as I ask...I hate being picky but hey we like what we like for a good bkf...thank you my friends much appreciated

My Mom and I came to have a meal yesterday after having a “Mother Daughter” day shopping. We arrived at 2:33 realizing that your establishment closed at 3pm when we got there. As I opened the door, we were met by a very unhappy employee! No smile… no greeting! What we received was “We are closed at 3” I then said “well hello…is it possible to still get breakfast?” Your employee said “well you have 20 minutes” I then turned to my Mom and said “Clearly we are not welcome here” and we left. Keep in mind, I made sure to let your employee know how incredibly rude she was! I manage a restaurant. I know customer service skills are of the utmost importance in order to keep a business thriving. I just wanted you to be aware of the staff you keep! Not impressed!!
Good for reasonably price
I went here a couple times now with a few of my friends and family and the food has been consistently excellent. The staff has always been kind, accommodating, and quick with service. I would definitely recommend coming here for breakfast or brunch.

I have found some sunset grills to be hit and miss....this one was a hit.great service with a smile.fresh hot food and coffee refills...we will defintely return

Service amazing. But the food? The bacon was so crispy it just turned to dust in my mouth, other than that the food was pretty ok nothing too special. Cheap too so a very good affordable

Had breakfast this morning at the Brooklin location, was enjoying it until I bit into a slice of dark rye toast and it tasted off and overly sour. Upon discovering the toast showed green mold on the top of it, we brought it to the attention of the waitress who in turn went to discuss it with the head waitress.
We overheard the head waitress(Elaine) reply to our server that” it’s not mold, I’ve been serving it all morning!” a reply which she gave while pre-occupied at the cash register without having seen the slice of bread herself.
Elaine the head waitress came over to our table and was rude, aggressive and unapologetic even though it was evident that I was physically ill by it and wanted to throw up having an upset stomach from eating moldy bread.
When I pointed out to her that how could she be adding insult to injury by arguing with me, the customer, who not only had her meal ruined by spoilt food but also having to deal with rudeness from her as the managing waitress, was absurd! She informed me that she would argue endlessly with the customer, if she believes there was no mold. A belief she defends without even looking at my slice of bread and which then got thrown out?
When I asked her to inspect it herself she refused saying she wasn’t going to take it out of the garbage. One would think any reasonable employee of such a big chain would think to inspect the piece of bread in question first before tossing it and then arguing with the customer!
People like Elaine spoil the brand of Sunset Grill when they have absolutely no clue about customer service and should not be in the capacity of dealing with customers.
Her rudeness, belligerent behaviour by telling me to “leave and go vomit then”, has made it that I would not want to patronize this establishment again even though I have been patronizing Brooklin Sunset Grill for 18 years!
I would not recommend to anyone else to eat there if their policy is to attack the customer if they receive spoilt food and also as long as Elaine is not retrained or working there.
