Love getting the poke bowls and sushi combos from this shop. I typically order takeout and the staff that work here are always super friendly at pickup.
I love coming to the Brooklin location. The service is outstanding and the food is always incredible. We love the Little Poke bowls and the tuna 🍣 and add in our favourite volcano rolls. Marcus is a master at creating the menu items. See you again soon.

Based on the reviews, Sushi Shop Brooklin is an amazing restaurant with friendly, polite, and spectacular staff. The food is amazing, fresh, and delicious. The fish and ingredients are fresh, and the sushi is made in front of customers. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, with a very nice atmosphere. Specific meals mentioned include the new lobster blossom roll, which was fantastic with beautiful presentation, and the mini salmon poke bowl for $9.99 with a good size portion and beautiful presentation. There are walk-in lunch specials for about $10–15. The hospitality feels like home. It is considered the best sushi in Durham and exceeded expectations.
