This cafe had some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! I’d give it 5 stars if the app allowed and they have an extensive vegan menu! The portions are good sizes and it’s relatively average prices. It’s definitely worth the stop and the staff were super friendly too. It’s in a really cute neighbourhood also
A VERY NEGATIVE AND UNREAL EXPERIENCE
My husband went to this place after making reservation just to check the vibe of the place if there is loud music and is good for our 4 month old baby or not and was showed the reserved seat by the front person. By the time he came and got me and the baby from the car(literally 2 mins), that front desk guy gave that table to someone else and told us that those people moved themselves to that table from another table and he requested them but they denied to move back( I mean how is this possible that its your restaurant and people dont follow your way) Anyways… We were given the option to sit right besides the open kitchen even though he knew we have a sleeping baby and were looking for a quiet place.
The whole point is the people there don’t care , they just need business and i would not give my business to them( the person who loves trying new places and keep going back to the best ones - JUST FYI)

This interesting cafe is about the general atmosphere-- overlooking the wobbly tables and awkwardly sloping patio. (We can't blame the establishment for the seasonal wasps.) My wife and I visited for the first time, and the place has excellent coffee drinks, delicious scones and jam, but an overly large and somewhat mediocre quality breakfast menu. I suspect the two clearly overworked servers were also owners. They couldn't keep up, tried hard to hold a smile, and some folks waited a good 10 minutes to be served and 40 minutes for food. We were fortunate enough to slip ahead of a party of five at the door. We had a long liesurely breakfast and their food still didn't start to arrive. In short, this place holds promise, and it could be worth the somewhat elevated prices if the food were more original (e.g., do something other than McCain deep fried hash browns) and the service significantly improved!

Kids meal was good.
Home fries were still the same. Jam and scones still delicious.
My scrambled eggs which were served more like an omlette had much of the egg whites under cooked.
The main reason that I will not return is the new ownership has absolutely no level of customer service. I get more friendly and more prompt service at fast food places!
No check on how the food was, no refill on our water or my coffee offered. Very basic things they completely miss the mark. It was also not busy at all so no reason for this lack of service.
Really unfortunate that a place that was so spot on, is spotty as best..
The food and our café is a very unique spot in Whitby. It’s a nice location and also a hidden gem. Your breast with awesome art and concert things to look at.
As for the food, it was very good. I had the eggs Benedict and followed it with the stuffed French toast with bacon. I will say do not order anything with cheese!! They very much so overdo it as I couldn’t enjoy the stuff French toast because the blob of cheese and also the Philly cheesesteak breakfast that really killed the mood with all the cheese.
Besides that the staff is very kind welcoming place, they also have an outdoor patio area. That is very cute.
I would recommend it and I will definitely be going back but now I know what I shouldn’t order !!
I will say the banana bread French toast might be the best thing I’ve ever had in my life

Coffee is very poor, and highly priced for the quality. No chai prepared on site, it’s a chai and dairy mix. Ordered vegan pancakes which were extremely dense, too rich for a breakfast and more like a dessert. Service was extremely slow despite being not busy.

Just ok. Surprised that you can't get a black coffee free refill for a Capuccino, but you can get one if you bought the cheaper black coffee first.

They have a whole page of vegan food which is lovely. They food was yummy. My son had Oreo pancakes and thought that was amazing.
The staff were super friendly and lovely.
Great little spot. Enjoy all the art while you’re there.
Also the name. Hilariously fabulous

A must visit for their scones. Fresh off the oven, sweet and fluffy scones are a must must try. Their French toast on pumpkin bread and other breakfast dishes are amazing. The service is prompt and they make you feel welcome always. Highly recommended.

Found this place by accident after a Sunday brunch snafu. Walked in to a fun, eclectic and busy place. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the owner cleared off their server prep station for us to have a meal. Amazing service, amazing food. When we ordered the smoky bacon Mac and cheese, you heard the kitchen get hyped calling the order, and what showed up was delicious. The breakfast poutine sounded odd but wanted to try it-amazing! Will be recommending and def going back.

We were in the area, hungry and wanted to grab a late lunch. They warmly accomodated us even through it was close to their closing time! We also appreciated them still checking in and refilling our coffee and waited until we are done before finally finishing their day.
The Benny was perfectly pouched and pair on top of a delicious scone (that was made in-house) rather than a regular muffin.
Medium breakfast was to the point. Not oily. And also comes with the homemade scone and homemade jam!
Home fries were fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft inside.
Will definately be back!
