A. They won’t pick your call to book a table
B. They will have waitlist of 2hrs and that will make sure you won’t be able to get in on that day
C. You can definitely try it again next day and try your luck :)

One of our favourite go-to food spots in Durham! Our favourite items are the Diablo and La Forresta pizzas, as well as the pesto gnocchi! Don't miss out on eating here if you're in town.

As regular customers we decided to have our son’s first bday party at Tuscan Wolf and we had a great experience from planning to the big day. Mo, Pam and Jessica were amazing on the day and went above and beyond. The food was excellent, we catered for 35 people in the party room and everyone had a ball.

We ordered a selection of pasta, pizza and salads and had an open bar for our guests and the Tuscan Wolf team did a great job, even with the kids running around! The food was fresh and high quality. We even converted a person who doesn’t like pizza with one of Marco’s pizzas (the sweet reaper is a must try ;)) Mo was so helpful with planning the menu and dietary needs we needed to accommodate. He was also so attentive on the day to ensure our food was hot and very well presented. Genuinely felt like we were at our home away from home hosting our family and friends.

Marco, Mo and their team did a great job!
Thank you, ciao 😊

(Didnt get any shots of the pizzas 🍕as fast as they came out they were gone 😋)

The food is excellent, a big shout out to our server. They accidentally brought us meat on our pizza and he immediately fixed it and was so sorry. I totally forgot his name, but we were there on 02/15/2026 . Thank you 😊 for everything you do!

We were left waiting at the front for almost 15min without even a greeting or any acknowledgement. Took another 5min to get seated after being acknowledged.
The pizza was good.
We tried ordering tiramisu twice, first time they forgot about and the second time they said they just ran out....

Service was great, pizza was good. Being Italian myself and I guess being spoiled by pizzeria’s in Cosenza and Napoli, I guess this is as authentic as you can get to real Italian pizza here in Whitby or Durham for that matter. ( keeping in mind different countries = different ingredient quality and different final outcomes ) A Quattro Stagioni pizza along with some focaccia pannini options would be great too! Overall, a good experience! 🤌

We LOVE the food here- Desiderio!!
We’ve been having their food from the past couple of years- usually get it delivered via UberEats, occasional dine in
The pizza is so fresh- yumm! Crust, flavours everything.
Tiramisu is great too. Your perfect neighborhood place if you’re craving authentic Italian- always our go-to . It definitely stands out. Highly recommend.
The place is a little snug but we love the cozy ambiance they’ve created.

I had the pleasure of dining here last week (apologies for the late review), and this place is an absolute gem. I ordered the Margherita pizza, a glass of Pinot Grigio, the chicken Alfredo penne, and tiramisu.

The pizza was good, and the service was great. The Alfredo sauce was clearly made from scratch—rich, flavorful, and comforting, like something a Nonna would make.

Now, the tiramisu deserves its own mention. It was absolutely delicious—not too heavy, not too sweet, and incredibly authentic. Those little bites of chocolate were pure heaven. I would honestly come back just for it.

Thank you to Tuscan Wolf Pizzeria and the staff for such great food and an overall amazing experience.

The best thing about this restaurant isn't the authentic Italian pizza, it's the service provided by Glinda. She takes her time with you, chats, laughs, engages, and helps. We asked her for coffee recommendations because we had been trying all the cafes in the area and so far hadn't found one we liked and she took her time to draw us a map on a napkin. That level of service is hard to find nowadays. The pizza is really good, especially the pizza margherita, but the service is where it's at.
