I love these butter tarts. So often there is too must pastry and not enough filling. Not the case here. My choice is pecan, but I am sure they are all awesome.
If all you want is flakey pastry...this butter tart is not for you. These butter tarts are the kind your grandmother made if she grew up in southern Ontario. That perfect mix of filling to a Scottish-style pastry. This is a great butter tart...and I know my butter tarts.

If you want some good butter tarts these has to be your go to! these have got to be the best butter tarts i have ever had, soft crust with a buttery filling! i will never switch to other brands again.
I tried your butter tart for the first time. Sadly it was the worst butter tart I have ever had I will not be trying it again. The crust was doughy and under baked. The filling was flavorless not a good experience at all thumbs down

Very good butter tarts
I’ve eaten way better butter tarts. These tasted like cheap tarts mass produced and sold at a dollar store. I only gave it 3 stars because it was fresh.

Not to my liking . The pastry was not flaky. The filling was not your normal butterscotch tasting filling. Overpriced $8.00 for 6. Will take them to work and leave them on the lunch area table. Perhaps someone will like them. Free always tastes at the least good.
Passing through Hastings, Ontario coming home from vacation. Bought 6 raisin butter tarts omg so delicious wish I lived closer. Definitely have to try them if you haven’t. The price was not even an issue. Just awesome!
