Found these at Cristellos in Campbellville. Got the strawberry coconut. They were delicious. Nice and crumbly, and they tasted fantastic. The layered tiers of toppings is a nice touch. Starts with strawberry, followed by butter tart filling, and finished with toasted coconut. The people complaining about price ($9.99 for 6) that’s on the grocer you purchased them from. They were $5.99 for 6 where I bought them. Well worth it. Great tarts.
If all you want is flakey pastry...this butter tart is not for you. These butter tarts are the kind your grandmother made if she grew up in southern Ontario. That perfect mix of filling to a Scottish-style pastry. This is a great butter tart...and I know my butter tarts.
If you want some good butter tarts these has to be your go to! these have got to be the best butter tarts i have ever had, soft crust with a buttery filling! i will never switch to other brands again.
