We have been to Vikram Vij's restaurant in Vancouver, (for us the standard to judge others by), and we think Chili Corriander is the new standard.

I recently tried this restaurant, placed multiple orders for a small gathering.
We liked garlic naan and malai kofta curry.
Had very bad experience with Cherry tomato kaju curry, we asked for extra spice where they just put raw red chilli powder. Based on the taste I think they haven’t even sauté the curry after adding extra chilli powder. We could only get chilli powder taste and even could see few lumps of chilli powder which is not properly mixed.
We also ordered for fried momos and we got fried dumplings, taste seems to be ok. It would be good if the menu highlights the item clearly.
Edit - Response to business -
Thank you for your points on my review. Just FYI I clearly checked on the spice levels when I ordered for cherry tomato curry. The lady who picked my call asked me specifically on the spice levels , and when I said extra spice she said it can be done. So we placed the order based on your team suggestion.
Fried momos are showing in the heading, where as description shows dumplings, I missed checking the description in detail and went with the title.

Amazing food, been looking for good Indian food for a while now very happy to find this place. Butter chicken and coconut curry were amazing. The garlic naan was what I’ve been trying to find to find for years, completes the meal. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

****UPDATED ACCORDINGLY****
So disappointing…. Here is the receipt to show I ordered from here. The Biriyani was horrible, the chicken was rubbery and the rice was undercooked as well as the plain white rice. The veggie samosa was oily and unappetizing, the chicken curry also had rubbery chicken breast and everything overall was just inedible and extremely disappointing. The food is sitting in my fridge untouched. I don’t know who is reviewing this restaurant with positive reviews to be honest. Such a waste of $100.
P.s I just took these pictures of the food right now to show it’s still sitting in my fridge untouched from yesterday and will go in the garbage right after this review.

This is the best butter chicken I’ve ever eaten and I can confidently say I’ve many butter chicken and curry dishes. 10/10 - friendly service with great suggestions. Would highly recommend and will be back. Clean inside too.

Very cozy environment. We ordered sweet corn soup, chef special oven clay platter, Gobi Manchurian and Dal makhni.
Everything was to the point in terms of flavour!
Chef is really good at his job
Dal Makhni was delicious and reminded me of back home!
Their service could have been better as we were the only table they had but I will still give 5 stars due to the fact that they reminded us of the drink that we had forgotten to take.

The food and prices are fantastic, service is excellent as well . Only problem I can see is the lack of parking, I’m in walking distance so I don’t really care lol. Thank you for picking Stouffville to open up hope you’re here for a long time.

That last review boggles the mind.
This place has the best Indian food in York Region. Delicious flavours, huge menu and lovely staff. It's one of our favourite places for takeout in Stouffville.

Moved to Stouffville *desperately* looking for amazing food. Food is central to happiness for myself and my family. I cannot understate enough how AMAZING Chili Coriander's food is. The flavor is authentic. The sensory experience is sublime. Reheated somehow makes it magical in its deliciousness. It's been a long time since I tasted Indian food this incredible. Every bite feels like an escape from the doom and gloom of reality to a version of existence that is pure bliss. Forever grateful to have experienced this food, and can't wait to try more from this restaurant.
Oh, and the staff is LOVELY. Only positive things to say about this place and their food. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. 🔥

WORST Place for Indian food in Stoufville , Ontario.
Me and my friend came here for Lunch , all excited thinking 4.9 star place would serve good food. BUT we were so wrong , I ordered a Dal Makhani and He ordered Butter Chicken.
And we were so Disappointed, the Dal Makhani was stale and smelled weird like it was old 2-3 days old (a mush without a taste but awful stench ) , and they just microwaved it. The Butter Chicken was ,nothing short of a mess as the Chef who I don’t think can cook a good meal just put Raw Chicken in Tomato sauce (no flavours). On asking for Onions we were giving just 2 slices of Onion ( I kid you not just two slices - picture attached ) - plus they charged us $.99 cents lol.
And once we sent the Dal back , the lady who was all sweet while taking the order - did not serve us at all - in spite of us asking for some service.
I hope I would have saved our MONEY and gone to a better place with better Food or Service.

Food - 1.5 out of 10
Service - 1 out of 10
Ambience - 2 out of 10 ( they did not even have the AC on 😞 )
I am all for small businesses, but please stop price gauging and give a bit of customer service and good food.
We are definitely not coming back here :(

Perfect , The best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’m Iranian myself, but I really enjoyed this restaurant even the energy of the place was amazing
The food packs a punch like no other place. Amazing taste and good vibe.It has an diverse menu with too many options to choose from. The food and the taste wont disappoint you at all. We ordered Mughlai chicken and Baingan bharta and we relished it completely. I would recommemd this to everyone who are fond of Indian and Indo-Chinese food and missing the taste that they would get from food back home in India.
