I’ve been going to Hanson’s since 1996 and I’m amazed me at the incredible variety on the menu! Better yet, everything is perfectly prepared and delicious. Best of all is the outstanding service from Maryanne … so cheerful, so accommodating, a real joy!

We absolutely loved our visit to this hidden gem! We first spotted it in what felt like the middle of nowhere, and we are so glad we stopped. The food was incredible — everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavour.

The thin-crust pizza was loaded with toppings and baked perfectly — crispy, light, and so delicious. Their BBQ pork strips and shrimp fried rice were also outstanding — rich, savoury, and truly authentic Chinese flavours that reminded us of proper home-style cooking. You can tell they really care about the quality and taste of their food.

The atmosphere is warm, clean, and welcoming, and the service was wonderful. Mickeal was especially friendly and made us feel right at home. Prices are very reasonable and affordable for the quality and portions.

We’re so happy we discovered this place. It’s one of those restaurants you never forget — and we will definitely come back anytime we pass through this way. Highly recommended!

I didn’t really appreciate the overly friendly staff (read the room)too many questions. Food was expensive for what I got ($30 for fish n chips). Fries were not real potatoes, fish was good portion but greasy. Would not recommend. It’s the only place around though and I was hungry-did the trick!

I stopped in at Hanson’s Restaurant with a craving for fish and chips, but unfortunately, the meal didn’t live up to expectations. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food itself was a real letdown. The fish came with a crust that was thick and hard, more of a chore to get through than the light, crispy batter you hope for.

The fries were equally disappointing—they tasted like frozen retail oven fries that had simply been dropped in the fryer. For a dish as simple and classic as fish and chips, I left feeling pretty underwhelmed. The service saved the experience from being worse, but based on the food, I can’t say I’d be eager to order it again.

Wonderful surprise to find such a nice restaurant in this location. Great service, the owners were so kind and helpful. I stopped by after a long hike with my dog and they let us sit outside to eat. Menu is a good price and there are large portions!

First time here, enjoyed it!
