Super friendly people here. It was quick stop in for lunch. Their lunch special prices are very well priced & portions are great!Green Dragon Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll were delicious. The spicy mayo is packed with flavour! The Bento box is good, standard. Salmon was kinda bland but the teriyaki sauce saved it. Sweet and not overpowering.Overall, would come back!

As a regular here I have noticed that attention to detail on the Maki rolls have been lacking lately. See attached photos. Uneven cuts of maki. Some too big some just right. The bigger pieces you can almost choke on. Pls pay more attention. This was not the first time I’ve had this experience. If this keeps up I won’t be coming back.

We loved this place and ordered from this place one a week, as there is not much choice in Stouffville. We have never been inside, since covid always ordered uber. Yesterday inside the rolls thee was an animal material, looks like beef skin. I brought it right away, instead of apologizing they started arguing and said that it was salmon skin. We all know how salmon skin looks like. Crazy Kato rolls has salmon on top of the rolls, it was inside. I had diarrhea the whole night.

Kato Sushi stands out as the go-to local sushi place in Stouffville. The food is consistently good and fresh, though the restaurant's size leans more towards a takeaway setup. If you're looking for quality sushi in a cozy, no-frills setting, Kato Sushi is a solid choice.

For the price point, its good in the area. The rolls are bigger than the average you get else where. While sushi is a small decent size.

Food is fresh and atmosphere is comforting. One of the best sushi places I’ve seen in the area so far. The only improvements I would say is the quality and also some of the cleanliness of the plating, but other than that, it is worth the money you’re paying.

The sushi and party trays are super fresh we used to go to A1 sushi at markham and 16th and when we tried here we haven't gone back to A1 sushi. The quality is really good and you can tell the difference. The mayo fried chicken is really good too!. The proces are reasonable and priced fairly. Highly recommend giving Kato a try!.

We were a party of 2 and have lived in the area for years. Sushi is my spouse’s ‘go to’ but we have never dropped into this particular restaurant in the past. We typically do ‘all you can eat’ dining rooms for sushi but thought we would give this one a go for dinner. We were impressed. It is a very small restaurant, but even though we were early for the dinner service, it got very busy, very fast. Service throughout was excellent. We ordered the "Love Boat" ...a Sashimi & Sushi combination boat (34 pcs). In addition to sashimi and sushi, the boat included miso soup, salad, edamame, a selection of tempura and rolls. Tons of food. Ended up taking 1/3 of it home. ALL excellent. An amazing find. We will be back!

One of the best Japanese restaurants in the area! I didn't have a chance to try too much sushi or sashimi, but their rolls and cooked food were all fantastic. We tried a small plate of torched sushi only and it was a little disappointing given the quality of everything else we ordered. Service was good and the price seemed very reasonable too.
