“This was my very first visit to Greek Pitas. I had heard so many good things about this place that I had to check it out.
Service was efficient and the staff was very friendly. I learned that this restaurant has been open since 1988! Wow! That means that the food must be good!
I tried the gyros and the donair. They were amazing: the meat was tender and plentiful and the spices were balanced just right. I’ve found the gold standard for these two amazing wraps. Can’t wait for my next visit.“

“First time ordering, I got 2 gyros, a side salad and a humm, enough for about 3 meals. If you're getting a gyro, you may as well get a second one with it. It's a dollar off, and gives you left overs for later.Gyro meat has got some bite, and the tomato is acidic, but the sauce does a wonderful job of taming and pulling the sandwich together. The humm is oily and garlicy and delicious, pairing wonderfully with the soft dryness of the pita and the savory spice of the gyro, earning the involuntary "mmmm". A time-tested formula sure to delight. Overall, a quality sandwich, and the kind of meal I expect when I order from a place called "La Pita on Sandwich".On the downside, my salad came with onions and cucumbers, which I specifically asked to be excluded. But I had no problem pawning those bits off to one of my hungry house mates. There were no onions on my pita, so I'm thinking they were made by different people to get my order out in good time. The ingredients weren't mixed in, so it wasn't too hard to pick them out to my satisfaction. And most people want those things in their salad anyway.Also, personal opinion, their drink game is lacking. But, like... whose isn't these days?The presentation of the packaged meal was adequate. It smelled like food, and I was able to tell what was what before opening anything.
