I've read most of the 3 star and lower comments, unfortunately they are honest. We live in the neighborhood and go there couple times a year for years. Seeing the economics down, local small business striving, we wish this nice little pearl of the neighborhood last. Excellent meals and generous portions, the staff were wonderful and the service was extremely fast. On my beverage was star anise which added a level of aromatics that I quite enjoyed. Would certainly recommend and also advise to book a reservation prior.
Front of house was understaffed and as a result the wait to be seated and order was longer. Our waitress was great but seems like she could use some help.
Food quality is also not as good as it used to be. Prices went up (completely understandable) but the portions were definitely smaller than before.
