Can’t say it lived up to the hype for us. I got a brisket sandwich and my girlfriend got a chicken sandwich which was concerningly undercooked (and in hindsight should’ve maybe been sent back). My sandwich was good. Pickles tasted like the ghost of dills past.
Unfortunately a disappointing experience. I tried the chicken sandwich but it was undercooked. The pickles tasted like they were placed beside a bottle of vinegar for 5 minutes; hardly pickled at all. I was surprised to see that they also had pho on the menu (?)
We have always raved about Sawyer’s as we’ve always eaten in.
However wanting to get back to the states we decided to take our cob salad home.
It was about half the size we get while eating in.
I will order in then take it home in a to- go box.
Hate to complain because we really love this place.
Guess we just learned from our mistake.
So please do take out especially if taking back to US before seeing what’s in your container.
