Good portions, good food, decent prices. Specials on most days.
Tuesday was Halibut or Cod specials.
Had the two-piece Cod dinner for $17.25 plus tax.
Store does cash, visa, and Mastercard for payment.
Wednesday has a very affordable Haddock option.
Fish was crispy, airy, and non greasy. A whitish coating versus the usual golden yellow of most fish and chippies. Fries my fave style of I suspect, a double fry. Crispy, not soggy and again not greasy.
Wait was negligible at 5 pm and staff friendly and all appearance enjoyed their work and the work environment..Nice to see.
Lots of tables are available to dine in. Sparse but clean decor and many options to eat. Ice cream, pie, butter tarts, and eclairs on offer for desert here.
For the negative. Took my takeout down to enjoy at the river. I'm all excited, opened that bad boy up, and......no fork, or napkin. I was offered condiments, so why not cutlery and napkin. Now, if you don't automatically include them, I get that on cost and waste, but please ask. If you don't have them to offer, I won't be back. It is a miss on your part.
I travel through to Windsor multiple times a month and eat out always, so I'm not a local with a drawer full of plastic forks available.🤣
Aslo in hindsight. I probably would've taken a drink if offered and upsold.
I didn't think of it at the time, and it was a warm one today.🤔
Great restaurant. Authentic fish and chips. Love the food! Great service.
Don't recommend fish was undercooked and very greasy won't be back.. Pluz very expensive..
This location has been a family staple for years! An absolute fan favorite with the best fish and chip dinner in the city!
Delicious and classic Windsor Fish and Chips. Halibut is always top quality with a generous portion of fries. I’ve been going to Sir Cedric’s for decades and the servers are always the most friendly in the business. They have great specials especially on Tuesdays. Lots of free parking. A Windsor institution.
Food came out fast and was good. Server was friendly
Good place for fish and chips, nice variety, good service.Reasonably priced fish served grilled or battered.
I worked in restaurants for over 10 years. I've served thousands of haddock.
The batter was devoid of flavour. Even after dumping 3 times as much salt as I ever normally would I still couldn't taste anything.
My 10 year old loved it for this reason.
If you had blind folded me and switched it out with cardboard half way through I would not have been able to tell the difference.
I brought half home and air fried it until it was crunchy, making sure to add herbs and spices, made a good dip for it and salvaged it.
If you are looking for a good English style fish and chips (ie, lacking flavour of spices). This is it.
We’ve been eating at this establishment for many years and I’ve never had a bad meal. Great food. Great service great price.
Didn't accept phone order for call ahead. Tuesday special was 18. Something for 1 pc fish n coleslaw no napkin or fork to eat the coleslaw. Fish was excellent but service was poor due to lack of condiments. Will never return as prices last time was half this amount.

Amazing food, wish the dining room was bigger.
Once again 10/10
Definitely the best fish and chips in Windsor, fresh, hot, crispy and massive portions.
Staff are very attentive, efficient and personable.
Would highly recommend.
Baked halibut was a bit dry. Waited a long time for my order, even though they didn't seem busy.

We are from out of town and were looking for somewhere to get a quick meal. Saw Sir Cedric’s. So glad we did. Excellent food for a great price. But better than that was the FANTASTIC service. Best service I have had in a long while!!
