Yemen Stars Restaurant is a hidden gem The food is full of authentic Yemeni flavor the mandi and haneeth are must-tries, and the fresh bread is amazing. The service is warm, friendly, and attentive. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Great portions, great prices, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
Tried the Lamb Mandi. The rice was good, and the lamb was super soft and tender. However, it had a strong yellow tint, maybe too much turmeric or coloring? Not sure if that’s how it’s traditionally made in Yemen.
Absolutely loved my experience at Yemen Start! The food was rich, flavorful, and truly authentic. The lamb haneeth was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the fahsa was bubbling and delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and traditional. Will definitely be coming back!
