California Sandwiches

(Previous employee from 2014 era speaking)- I moved to BC a few years ago and make a point to visit everytime I come back. Although I love a catchup trust me when I say I’m coming back everytime for those sandwiches😂😂

I’ve been coming here for years! They have the best veal and chicken parmesan sandwiches in the city. California Sandwiches is always consistent with the quality of food and portion sizes. The owner and staff are always kind to me. Don’t ever change!

Got an opportunity to go and try Chicken sandwiches here. Absolutely loved it, service was great with sound atmosphere. Surely going back.

I just ordered from Skip, and omg....this was absolutely 💯 amazing!!!. I ordered the chicken sandwich with provolone, delicious! I could only finish half as the portion is huge, so now I have dinner for tonight! I also ordered the riceballs..jesus christ, they are better than mine, and I make wicked riceballs!!!...I also ordered the garden salad which I absolutely cannot eat right now as I'm so full, but im sure, equally as delicious!! Thank you so much for a wonderful lunch!! 5 stars indeed!!

I was very dissatisfied I asked for a fully loaded hot meatball and that was on it was hot peppers fully loaded means onions mushrooms cheese then my peppers not just one small bite in my sandwich with a pepper also the sauce was horrible and there was no taste to the meat and not worth my time I will not return but will I recommend anyone visit this location also the small bottle of Brio was $3.49 when I could have gone to dollar tre next door and purchased a 1L bottle of Brio for $2 all in all I was disgusted with the location and left still hungry I should have gone to Commisso bros & racco

We love the veal sandwiches here, but the Scarborough location does them a bit better. The rice balls were kind of bland but the sauce was very tasty. I still prefer the sandwiches here compared to most places.

The Piazza del sole de location, in Woodbridge, makes the best steak sandwich. The Queensway location makes the best veal sandwich. Those two locations are the only panini shops that I go to because no one does panini better, Infact no one even comes close, dig it!

Been going to this place for years and years. Now that I'm older, it is nice to try some vegan options, like the eggplant or Portobello mushroom options. I swear that the eggplant is indistinguishable from the veal! What an amazing option! The olives are to die for and I highly recommend them. Just keep up the great work you do here and if you've never been, just GO!
