While I can’t say anything about the atmosphere of the storefront we grabbed tarts yesterday when you were at Bowmanville Apple Fest. Honestly so good that I would make the drive from any distance they are that delicious. My new favourite tarts beats out any and all competition hands down. Perfect texture, taste and size too. Filling to pastry ratio is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting you again very soon at your storefront.

Carla’s butter tarts are outstanding. I placed an order fairly close to Thanksgiving and Carla went out of her way to ensure I would receive my order in time. Each butter tart was beautifully packaged and labeled and was a perfect little gift I gave my guests. Carla’s tarts are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend! I rated atmosphere because of how the tarts made my guests feel.

The butter tarts are wonderful, gooey, not jelly-like and fabulous flavours. Only one thing I would like changed if possible and that is a nut free variety package, without the expectation of being safe for someone with a severe nut allergy, but at least safe enough for a family member with a mild allergy. We recognise that there are nuts in the facility.

Carla’s Cookie Box butter tarts hit the spot with a filling that’s just the right consistency—gooey but not too runny. The crust is decent, though a bit ordinary. Pro Tip: Heat them up for a better experience—the warmth enhances the flavors!
Carla’s butter tarts are incredible!!! It’s obvious why they are award winning. I had the privilege to get some at the CNE and I’m so glad I did. I tried to take a “before” picture, but couldn’t resist and had to take a couple of bites before I got home. All the flavours we got were so delish. It wasn’t just a butter tart; it was an experience! Highly recommend.

I couldn’t believe I finally had the chance to try Carla’s award winning butter tarts. It’s available to order online or you can pick one up at the CNE Canadian National Exhibition until tomorrow. I forgot which building she was in but it’s near the Dufferin Avenue Entrance and Exit Gate and also near the BMO fields. Of course, their Pecan Butter Tarts were sold out by the time I got there. Darn it. Shout out to the very young brunette lady who took the time with me tonight in deciding which one to get. I ended up getting 2 tarts for $7 all in when paying in cash. They take other payment types too. Take a look at my pics and you will see those various payment types. I ending up getting the traditional Raisin Butter Tart and the Turtle Butter Tart which has caramel and pecans in it. The filling is gooey sweetness, and the thin crust compliments it. Balancing the overall taste of it. I like the fact her take out bag has the ingredients and calories listed on it. Looking at it her ingredients are simple as it can get and just the way I like it. Till we meet again, Carla’s Cookie Box like in another City event. Goodnight all.
