the only treat I really like is normal, homemade, raisin buttertarts. I needed a pick me up so ordered these to ottawa. HIGHLY Recommend.

Just received four boxes of tarts and finished one lol. They're excellent and you can taste that they've been made fresh and with high quality ingredients. Shipping info was a little confusing as the shipping company was initially saying they hadn't picked up the order while the company (bakery) had said they hadn't already shipped them. I found out this was because they had been sent to the distribution centre first. I will gladly order again and look forward to trying different products!

Ordered them for delivery and it was very quick. They were filled nicely, however they had a strange taste....and an unpleasant aftertaste. My mom's butter tarts are much better. Won't order again and will not recommend.

ok all just received my tarts and am sad to say that you could not find a better tasting butter tart I am sure. They look exactly like picture. Very sweet and rich but that is what butter tarts are. The crust is just perfect.. Flaky but hold together. Truthfully I am not being paid or know these people. I would say that yes worth every penny, reason I said sadly was because, although a must to try and worth the money, I could not afford this luxury often. I did go with the cheapest ground shipping and received intact and fresh 6 days later and I am from calgary

My husband and I purchased the most delicious butter tarts from Carla’s vendor stall at the CNE. We haven’t had butter tarts in years, but they looked and tasted absolutely divine. The gentleman at the booth was also very helpful and a pleasure to converse with. We will certainly be purchasing them again.

I kept seeing ads for Carla's Cookie Box and finally decided to buy some of the butter tarts (I love butter tarts). I was a little worried with the weather being so very hot that they might be melty! They arrived in almost perfect condition and I immediately froze the lot (2 packs of 6). Just this week I had my first two tarts. They defrosted perfectly, and tasted amazing even after being frozen for a month! The crust is lovely and buttery and the tarts are pretty big, nice and deep with lots of delicious filling. I highly recommend these butter tarts from Carla's Cookie Box. You won't regret it.

I've wanted to try the butter tarts for awhile now , I typically don't order things online but I saw a vendor at the aurora street festival and decided to try a couple of the tarts , I usually take alot of photos , lol unfortunately they went fast so I didn't get any but anyways , I've had alot of different butter tarts in my life and I have to say I think these are the best , I had a plain , pecan and turtle tart, I can't say enough about how good these are , highly recommend these , thanks.

Based on the photos and a friend’s recommendation, we expected to love the tarts from Carla’s Cookie Box but the crust was surprisingly soggy and not crispy or flaky at all. We got a 6 pack of Traditional (Plain, Raisin and Pecan) and the filling was firm the way we like but alarmingly sweet. I know butter tarts are sweet but these were too sweet. We tried a small piece of each kind and didn’t want to finish them. An expensive lesson learned.
