An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! The service was outstanding and the food was truly unforgettable. The antipasto table was beyond impressive, the pasta and sauce tasted just like Grandma used to make, and the chicken was incredibly moist. The vegetable dish was a standout, and the meat literally melted in our mouths. Patrizia and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with warm, attentive, and highly professional. I attended a grad party of 24 last weekend with my family and 18 other guests. We were greatly surprised and disappointed to have been effectively ignored by 3 bartenders who were busy making espresso for other restaurant guests and when we asked if we could place a drink order we were told it would be 15-20 minutes-
A couple of other guests shared that they had to walk away when they too were not acknowledged when waiting to place an order
The host was made aware and addressed the manager directly about this and another issue but unfortunately the service did not get any better. I was embarrassed for the host-
I called the manager a few days later to make them aware of our experience and was politely given lip service and was thanked for my feedback- classic brush off.

Went here for a friend's birthday on a Saturday at 7:30, and we didn't eat until 9:15 or so. We had to ask for water, menus, and the temperature was unbearably high. We ordered drinks which we did not get for a half hour or more. After complaining to the manager they lowered the AC. It was maddening, and paying automatic gratuity on top of that. We were a larger group, and though we notified our server of a few late guests, it was clear our table was low priority and forgotten about, as they were understaffed and had two larger parties going on that they focused on. The bartender even admitted it when I went hunting for our drinks, that she had a 20+ drink order from another group so she couldn't get our wine and diet cokes.
The food quality has also sadly declined in my opinion.

We got to the restaurant and was told they were closed for a private event. No call ahead to let us know and no apology!

As someone who often curates dining experiences for colleagues and guests, I hold restaurants to a high standard—both in cuisine and hospitality. Castello Ristorante in Woodbridge rose to the occasion with remarkable grace.
I reached out on a bustling Friday evening with a request to accommodate a group of about twenty out-of-town guests. To my pleasant surprise, the team not only welcomed us but also arranged a beautifully appointed private area that immediately set an elegant and intimate tone for the evening.

We began with an array of starters. The calamari, while flavourful, leaned a touch softer than my personal preference. However, the salads—both the Caesar and the Radicchio—were vibrant, fresh, and exceptionally balanced. The standout of the opening course was undoubtedly the Bruschetta with Feta platter. It was beautifully presented and quickly became the table’s unanimous favourite.

When it came to the mains, the salmon stole the show. Perfectly portioned, delightfully tender, and impeccably seasoned, it was the plate that had our entire group talking. The veal dish was also beautifully executed, though I would love to see it paired with wild rice or a similar accompaniment to fully embrace its wonderfully rich sauce. The pasta offerings—spaghetti and fettuccine—proved effortlessly classic and deeply satisfying, the kind of dishes that remind you why Italian cuisine is universally adored.

Dessert was a delightful finale. The tiramisu and the berry burst dessert were both excellent—light, flavourful, and the perfect way to conclude an already memorable meal.
Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Mayank went above and beyond with warm, attentive hospitality, ensuring every request was handled with ease and professionalism. Hosting a large party can often be challenging, yet the team made the experience feel seamless and genuinely enjoyable.

Our guests left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs, thoroughly impressed by Woodbridge’s culinary charm. We will absolutely be returning—next time with a more planned visit in mind.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking an elevated Italian dining experience in Woodbridge.

A beautiful well thought of restaurant. The ambiance & staff was amazing. We went with a whole pageant group and we had an amazing time. I’m actually going back this weekend. The food was good especially when you want to taste something new.

We booked last minute for a large group 80th birthday and the staff was wonderful! The food was great and the restaurant is quite lovely. We were very happy with the entire experience.

Early evening meal. Fairly quiet except for a party of around 24 next to us in a private room. Food and service was good but not outstanding. Prices a bit on the higher side but we liked it. Would go again.
