The food was good and the service was good but the manger was rude made remarks made me and my family feel uncomfortable and unwanted , when ordering food she would make remarks on how many items then would order then bring spring rolls to be all “happy happy”. We left in such a hurry we didn’t wanna be there for a minute longer.

My experience at Chako Vaughan was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warmth and made us feel right at home. The all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and sushi concept is a total winner – the variety of meats, from tender short ribs to flavorful marinated beef, was outstanding, and the sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. The grill-your-own setup added such a fun, interactive vibe to the meal, perfect for a night out with friends or family.
The service was top-notch; our server was attentive, quick to refill our water, and made great recommendations. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, with great ventilation so you don’t leave smelling like smoke. Special shoutout to the manager for checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The mango ice cream for dessert was the cherry on top of an already amazing meal. Chako Vaughan is hands-down my go-to spot for Korean BBQ in the area – can’t wait to come back

Service was great and the meat selection was excellent. Also really enjoyed the sushi!
Chako more like choke-o, aside from the great food I nearly choked on a long tendon from the boneless short rib. Honestly I would’ve given this place a 5/5 but because their slices were quite big I had a tough time chewing. Call it a skill issue because I was almost taken out by natural selection.

Most of the meat was like 80% fat, our server did not check on us during the hour and half we were there. And the last 40mins was spent with no food, no drink and waiting for someone to come ask us for our dessert order. Our server spent his time walking around humming with his airpods in, most unprofessional and unwelcoming restaurant I have ever been to. Did not get any assistance until we got up to go speak with the lady working at the bar, then our server pops up out of nowhere. A few of the food items had a funky taste to them, overall just a very bad experience. Will not be returning and encourage others to not waste their time or money on this place.

Visited this Chaka location and while the meat was tasty and the food overall was solid, a few things really took away from the experience. One of the side dishes had molded cucumbers, which was pretty off-putting. The washrooms were also quite dirty. On top of that, the server brought the payment machine without giving us a receipt or mentioning that 12% gratitude was already included, so we ended up tipping extra without realizing. Decent food, but the service and cleanliness need serious improvement

I genuinely cannot understand the hype around this place. The meat wasn’t seasoned, and the service was terrible—they messed up our orders on the first round. They served sushi that tasted stale (Longo’s has better), and the rice-to-fish ratio was way off—you couldn’t even taste the fish because there was so much rice. Honestly, the only good things were the pineapple and the ice cream.
And everything cost $55—omg! Thankfully, we knew how it worked, but it was our first time there and no one gave us any sort of introduction on how the experience was supposed to go.
Never checks up on you! Chilli oil is just oil… 3 or 4 chilli flakes. Only cares on how they look but not how they work. Not sure about the Richmond hill location but this Vaughan is TRASH!!! Save your money and go up to other AYCE Asian spots. I would recommend this location to someone that likes getting treated like scum. Change up chako

Chako in Vaughan is one of my favorite all-you-can-eat BBQ places in Canada! The restaurant is clean, big, and a great place to hang out with friends or family. The food is always fresh and super tasty—especially the beef, chicken, and side dishes. The staff are really friendly, quick, and helpful, which made the experience even better.
Even though it wasn’t my actual birthday yet, we had an early celebration there with a birthday cake, and I’m really glad we did. The prices are fair for how good everything is. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I’ve been to Chako a few times before and it used to be just okay, but this visit was a pleasant surprise. They’ve added more variety to the menu—which really made a difference. More meat and sushi options, and the meat tastes a lot better now.
Service was also great. The staff were friendly and quick to help with anything we needed.
Overall, I’m impressed with the improvements. It feels like they finally listened to feedback. Definitely a much better experience than before.
