Was craving prime rib and decided to change it up and try Chop. Was not impressed with the cut. A thin cut with excessive fat. The texture was chewy and soggy with too much gravy added. Potato and rice weren't anything special either. Very appreciative of the service provided by the manager and waiter, even offering me a different steak and giving us dessert. The regular steak was much better and we enjoyed the dessert. They did an excellent job trying to make my experience enjoyable. The main reason for 3 stars. But next time I'm craving prime rib I'll stick to the KEG.

Am a wkly customer at Chop but my last visit was a disappointment. I found a hair in my burger and the fries was cold which was a totally turned off however I like going there and like other food so most likely I would still go back again

Was there with my partner celebrating my birthday last night and our waitress was the sweetest person EVER, she even offered to take our photos , she checked on us made sure everything was great ! Her energy was amazing..10/10 loved every bit of it

I think it's a bit overrated unfortunately. Decent portion sizes but the quality or taste was missing. For a steakhouse I had higher expectations. Rib steak just was ok. Wedge salad needed more blue cheese. A few items we ordered were forgotten but they did bring them out after we reminded them at no charge
Also seafood linguine is just spaghetti - they don't have flat noodles. They atmosphere is nice for casual dress environment. Our party of 5 is in no hurry to go back

A good friend and I had the distinct pleasure of dining at the Chop Steakhouse in Woodbridge, Ontario for lunch on August 26 2025. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The two hostesses were delightful and found us an excellent table in the dining room as requested.
We started with a superb French onion soup. I would have liked a little more shredded onion, and a crouton in the soup, but the broth was the best I have tasted anywhere.
My friend had a perfectly cooked filet mignon with French fries, and I had a beautifully plated delicious roast prime rib of beef sandwich au jus, with a house specialty, “Furious Fries”. Not a crumb remained!!
Our excellent server, Alice, provided friendly, engaging and attentive first-rate service. She was a true pleasure to deal with and greatly enhanced our dining experience.
We are looking forward to our next visit to this fine dining establishment. Thank you to all at Chop Steakhouse for the great meal and great service in a super location with a cheery atmosphere.

Let's just say as a fellow chef, one would expect for the price of some of their mains that the taste and overall flavour would blow you away.... Full Face Flat experience. The food was absolutely nothing to rave about or save memories for. Mushy day old veggies, the over buttered mash, under cooked and bland shrimp, and $30+ for seafood linguinie where the crab was playing hide and seek me the entire time. I don't care about the price...I care about the taste, the flavours and the presentation. For the food, if there was a zero button that would be my rating. Chop Steakhouse...has been Chopped! I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

OMG, we are from the US from Baltimore, MD and the food was fantastic! We got a board that has three types of steak and it was fabulous. Even the sides were perfect. I have a nut allergy and they were great with that too. Our waitress was very friendly and did small talk which made us feel welcomed since it was our first night there. We were there on August 19th 2025 and it was raining a lot! We will revisit.
