I have been going to Chop Steakhouse for a few years now and love the space, atmosphere and food. I have found lately that the servers are not at all attentive. They huddle around the bar area and chat amongst themselves along with the manager. On my last two occasions, we were seated, placed our order, received our food and beverages, then I waited and waited until finally I waived down the bartender to order additional drinks. You would think that with all the staff hanging around the bar someone would have time to check on the patrons at the tables. DisappointingParking: plenty of parking

My Prime Rib meal was perfect. The dessert board was beautiful - the pineapple cake was my favourite! Thank you!

Had a mini business meeting last night, Chris the manager along with our server Jacob were absolutely fantastic and very accommodating.Last minute I placed reservations and they managed to sit us outside on the patio.I just keep on coming to the Chop Steakhouse because of the experience, the service and food (steakbites are always top tier)

Best place to come out for a night out! It’s always a great time being at Chop. Every time i’ve been here, everyone has been so nice! I even managed to see the general manager walk a guest out holding an umbrella for her! So sweet. Service, ambience and food is outstanding. I highly recommend!

I personally loved chops it was always amazing and the experience was to I don’t what they changed but now when I go the experience is horrible and my food was cold. When the last time I went to chops Vaughan I had ordered the chili garlic shrimp and the furious fries for appetizer and a Shirley temple as my drink. It took 30 mins just for my appetizer and drink to come and it was all cold. For my mains I had ordered the ribeye and lobster tails and fries for my side. It took almost an hour to get to my table and the server didn’t even bother to take off the dirty dishes from the appetizer nor the appetizer dishes and left it all there. My steak was so cold and not enjoyable my lobster tail was overcooked and cold. This had probably been the worst experience I’ve had at chops even though I had been coming for years but I don’t know if I will come again.

Seated promptly, our server was pleasant and attentive. Dinner was delicious, slight issue with steak resolved quickly and compensated generously. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
The server was abrupt and less than accomodating considering we were there for a birthday. The appetizers were good..shrimp cakes and garlic chili shrimp. My rib steak was average (not as good as the Keg ). The wine list was weak.

We eat at Chop quite often. Unfortunately this experience was the first time I can say was not up to expectations. The service was phenomenal, but my meal was flavorless and chewy. It really had no taste. Bland is an understatement. I was very surprised. Never before had I experienced this. The side dish as well was not tasty. Just an off night for the kitchen.

This was our first experience @ Chop but it most definitely will not be our last. The service was exceptional, our server Michael was a pleasure and always on the ball...amazing atmosphere, food was better then all the feedback we've gotten from previous customers and we can't wait to go back. Highly reccomend this restaurant, not only for the food but if you are as lucky as us to get Michael as your server, he won't disappoint!
