Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and the staff were friendly and the food was coming out with perfect timing in between trying and savouring each piece of meat. It was all very delicious and they even ensured we got everything we liked/wanted. 10/10 will be coming back for special occasions since it is a bit pricey but definitely worth it!
Well worth the 100$, do yourself a favour and hit up your birthday at this spot! They had dancers and a guitarist. The guitarist was incredible! He was playing a couple of my favourites. I love how they have the guitarist positioned as soon as you walk in.
Have had much better experiences.
Food didn’t feel fresh, and we never got steak consistently.
We ended up getting more chicken wings and lamb more than steak which was disappointing.
Expected more.
Amazing if you look a variety of quality meats
They need to be more clear on their website. Made reservation based on the website saying that Copacabana are gluten-free. Even put in the notes of the reservation that one of our party is gluten-free due to Celiac - a severe allergy to any gluten. Mentioned to the hostess as well; gluten free due to Celiac. She told us just to talk to our waitress and seated us. Luckily, when we told our waitress, she explained they are more gluten friendly - for people with a slight sensitivity to gluten. Not for someone with Celiac who can not have cheat days due to having an immediate reaction to ingesting any sort of gluten.
I am happy we were told before ordering anything, but disappointed not to find out sooner.
Wait staff was nice but our table kept being overlooked when it came to staff walking around with food. Apart from when the dancers were out, my wife and I had to wait nearly 10 mins at various points to get food. We didn't eat as much as we wanted, so I would say the cost versus eating, isn't justified. This was out first anniversay and we left earlier than we wanted to, solely because we kept being passed over. When the staff did come around, they were pleasant. Had I known this prior to booking, I would have rathered gone elsewhere to celebrate our first anniversary. The hostess that sat us, she was great. Elizabeth I believe. Food was good when we got some, but not worth the cost. Place was nice and clean. The samba dancers were a nice touch. We just felt ignored and we had actually mentioned this to staff on 4 separate occasions. They would come by a couple of times, and then it was back to being passed over.
I have been waiting a few years to go to the Copacabana. I had one of the most beautiful evenings! The food, service, atmosphere was truly worth the wait. I will be back. I give 100% thumbs up.
The food was okay, we waited a long time to be served any meat while everyone else around us was getting served left right and centre, we order the lasagna 5 times before we got it. Not work 220 for a couple not including drinks
Been many times and always great service and yummy food. Brought a friend for the first time and they were blown away. Will be back again and again
First time there. Did not know what to expect. Food was amazing. Service was good. Would definitely go back.

Spent 500 dollars and only tried like 7 things. The servers barely came to our table and there was like a 10 minutes wait period in-between.
Our table's location is not that nice. We were. A relatively large group. Food experience was not as good as compared to before. Our server Jessica was awesome though.
We visited for my girlfriend's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was completely unacceptable. First, one of the servers dropped parmesan cheese onto me when cutting the meat. I don't think he was aware, but when I was wiping the cheese, he didn't even apologize and acted like it was normal. Shortly after, another server accidentally squirted blood on me while slicing meat. Neither incident was acknowledged — I had to be the one to raise it with our server. No one showed any real concern or made any effort to address what happened. To make matters worse, the same server kept putting the slicing plates directly on my napkin without asking to move it aside, showing zero awareness or basic service etiquette. Also, despite asking twice for grilled pineapple, we waited over 15 minutes while nearby tables were served first. We stayed much longer than we wanted, just waiting for something that should have been simple. Because it was a special occasion, I chose not to make a scene, but the service did not come close to justifying an automatic 18% gratuity on a $190 bill. I brought it up, but the person said it's their policy. I just wanted to get out of there and didn't want to make a bigger scene as I didn't want to spoil my girlfriend's birthday. For comparison, I've had much better experiences at their Eglinton branch, and even at upscale restaurants like Canoe — where, when a mishap occurred, it was handled quickly and professionally and addressed by the manager before I even had to mention anything. That's real service. Food was good but service was as horrible. After this visit, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
This place has gone downhill. The servers only serve you for the first 25 minutes and then start skipping your table. Even when you request certain items, you'll be waiting 10 to 20 minutes at least for them to bring it. I think they want you to fill up on the sides which aren't that great. We ended up being there for the whole 2 hours because we hardly got any meat. This place used to be amazing but it's went down hill. For the price, we won't be returning.
Amazing everytime ! Just don't go too late, or they start to run out. Otherwise everything else is great
