Was in the mood for a good roti late at night. Rolled in at 915pm and ordered the chicken bone roti with pumpkin. Ate in so it came on a nice plate. It was so big !! Tried to hold it and eat it with my hands but it was too big. Nonetheless, it tasted real good. Could have used a little more gravy but it went down good.
Ordered the Chinese 1/2 fry chicken on top of chowmein to take home. Today, it is also tasting just like home in Trinidad.
Highly recommended if yuh want a taste of home. I will be back !!

The best vegetarian fried rice with broccoli, red bell pepper and other vegetables. They offer shrimp doubles and boneless lamb curry in roti was very tasty.

I was so looking forward to trying this new dining establishment as my group of buddies love Caribbean food and there are not a lot of authentic options around. Unfortunately, the horrific service ruined the experience. I gave the food a 3* and the service a 1* (which is too generous). 3 men - we ordered 3 beers, 3 appies, and 3 entrees and all I can say is;
None of the food arrived at the same time, it wasn’t hot, no cutlery, beer came after the meal, my appie didn’t come & my buddies had their appies come after the meal.
I am certain that this establishment isn’t this hopeless all the time or they would not be in business, they just REALLY pooped their pants today!! My friends may give them another chance, I don’t think I can, based on what an epic failure this was.
Sorry to rain on your parade, I believe in honest reviews as o use them to make decisions myself. Hope your experience is decent.

I wish they could put more fried chicken instead of more rice, also rush a bit more the food preparation, apart from that it’s delicious
Large portions and varied menu. Caribbean and Asian cuisine. Staff is friendly and patient

Jerk chicken is average. Portion size is good but taste wise its just okay.
Doubles were really good. The tamarind chutney is amazing. Service was prompt.

Went there for the Chinese dishes my first time and it was great, came back to get more West Indian dishes, and it didn’t disappoint!
We always get the pepper shrimp they’re amazing but can be spicy.
The rice and peas in the jerk chicken was so good, just wish there was more rice to balance the flavourful jerk chicken.

Waited 20 minutes to get cold rice and peas and cold jerk chicken. $20 wasted.

Good variety. Delicious food. Great value.
This place was an accidental find, but a welcome one at that. Drupatis, despite being branded as Caribbean Chinese Cuisine, is actually more like a tri-hybrid of Indian, Caribbean, and Chinese, with all cuisines being properly represented with all of the said cultures' best offerings.
The Boneless Curry Lamb ($15.80) was cooked well and was very tender. The Trini Bar-B-Que was extremely good value at its price point of $14.65. It was served with what I would assume as Yang Chow Fried Rice, some green salad, coleslaw, and BBQ chicken lathered with a creamy white sauce. We also were able to try the Soya Sauce Chicken ($14.75), which was like a sweet and sour chicken dish.
For appetizers, we were able to try the Aloo (potato) Pie ($4.15) and the Saheena ($4.85). For anyone wanting to try some uniquely Trinidad and Tobago snack food, I would recommend the Saheena, which is fried rolled-up spinach leaves. This fried snack was a good balance to the strong and saucy flavors from our other food orders. We ordered everything at the same time, but the Saheena was served last and after all of our main dish orders.
It was a good amount of busy when we dined in at around 1:30 PM on a Sunday. People were sitting for dine in and there was constant turnover of people coming in to pick-up takeout. The dining area was roomy with lots of space in the middle. I believe the place caters to events and other functions with how the layout is done.

Went to the Island Eats festival and tried the food at their stand. Their roti was doughy, undercooked with barely any chicken or potato and zero flavour. It was 100% a rip-off.
The doubles were way too salty.
Maybe they had the chicken and chickpea side by side and put the salt meant for the chicken in to the chickpea? I just don't understand how you can serve what they did without it being an accident, unless they really are that bad...
