This week we discovered a hidden gem in Woodbridge. Very nice and cozy atmosphere with ambient music. We got complementary arancini as a starter while waiting for our food. Very refreshing cocktails from their happy hour menu. Culinary innovative salad Squash & Pumpkin Chestnut Burrata, Wagyu Carpaccio as shareables was amazingly delicious. We want to come back to try delightful combination of different flavors in food and drinks.

Loved the quaint atmosphere of this bistro. If you enjoy quality cuisine without the pretentious attitude or outrageous bill, Essence is for you! Our server, Sofia, was friendly and helpful as was the chef. Will be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Essence Bistro. We received first class treatment, the chef was friendly, even came out to converse and ask us how we enjoyed our meals. The serving staff were very attentive. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. The restaurant is small, Intimate and not noisy, allowing us to focus on conversation with friends. Of note, is there is an outdoor patio option as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Our third time to Essence and we are always impressed with the food, service and Chef coming by our table to check in on our experience. The complimentary Salmon tartare before our appetizer and the new dessert at the end were delicious. Essence excels on their food, service, ambience and most importantly consistency. Thanks for another great night!

My wife and I drove over 40 minutes to visit Essence Health and Juice Bar in Vaughan for lunch on our anniversary on October 2nd. Google clearly shows their hours as 10:30am – 9:00pm, so we planned to arrive shortly after opening.

When we got there at 11:05am, the sign said closed, the doors were locked, and the lights were off. There was no note on the door, no message online, nothing to explain why. Through the window, I could see a woman walking back and forth in the kitchen area, so I knocked a few times; she looked up, saw us, and simply ignored us. Not even a wave or acknowledgment.

After driving that far and being treated like that, we left extremely disappointed. Unprofessional, unwelcoming, and a total waste of time. I would never drive out there again, and I’d strongly suggest calling ahead if you plan to visit, assuming they even answer as the 4 times I called, they didn't.

An amazing surprise! 4 friends meeting in a convenient location. The food was absolutely delicious, innovative and beautifully presented. Delightful cocktails too. We will be back. We savoured farm raised chicken, lamb chops cooked to perfection, blackened cod, tuna tartare, salads and burrata. What a treasure. The intimate space was appealing too. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you!!

The juice here are absolutely amazing, They have a great selection, a nice atmosphere and super friendly staff that works at the counter. They also sell a lot of other small items to eat such as smoothies bowls and sandwiches. Essence bistro juice bar you’re a hidden jem just like the restaurant next-door.

I had such a wonderful experience at Essence Juice Bar in Woodbridge! The service is outstanding from the moment you walk in. The front desk staff member greeted me with the warmest smile and was so attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations that perfectly matched what I was looking for.This is my daily place to go😊

The whole process was quick, smooth, and stress-free, and I truly felt valued as a customer. The atmosphere is welcoming, the juices are fresh and delicious,cookies are so good too and the staff go above and beyond to ensure every visit is enjoyable.

This is our second time at Essence Bistro. We brought our friends and they also loved everything about the restaurant. The food is creative and delicious. Our server was fantastic and helpful with suggestions for the wine and food. The chef made us some specialty dishes to try. We will be back again and bring more friends.

I have never been in a restaurant where the table for 2 is so small! Also not all the chairs are comfortable like the ad shows, making you feel like eating your food and relax somewhere else. Despite the small portions, the cutlery and the dishes are very cute though.

Food and presentation was very unique and delicious! Service was great! There was a live guitar player with soft music. Prices are reasonable for the food and ambience

I came today to get oatmeal the worst oat meal I have ever had I have had oatmeal in past from here it was good this time was so bad they didn’t even replace for me and it went to garbage I told them it was extremely dry it was stucking in my throat and the employee was there she was not understanding me at all I pay here she was trying charge me again I hope the costumer service improve and serve better food because I am really disappointed when I told her she just say sorry I even show her how dry it was no replacement and I was dinning in person not outside to lie super disappointed

We had a great time at Essence Bistro. Food was amazing overall, each dish presented with creativity and flavours were greatly combined to give an authentic, fresh and elevated experience. One of the originally ordered mains was a bit of a miss, but the chef was extremely understanding and helpful to exchange the dish for another one. Absolutely great customer service. Not only from the chef but the waiters as well. Starters/shareables were great, Lamb chops and the black cod were outstanding, with the duck breast and burger being equally great. Desserts were unbelievable! All in all, one of the few places that we're going to definitely go back and have some of the other - I'm sure - amazing offerings.

We were disappointed in our food. The truffle omelet was extremely bland and chewy. It tasted nothing like truffles and the texture was unpleasant. Coffee was not great either. No aroma. We won't be coming back
