Flaming Kitchen Vaughan

Last night, my friend and I had dinner at Flaming Kitchen Vaughan, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the mentaiko spicy udon—it was flavorful, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The service was excellent as well. The server greeted us with a warm smile and was very attentive, always noticing what we needed before we even had to ask. The atmosphere was another highlight: cozy and relaxing, without too much noise, making it easy to enjoy the moment. My friend and I truly had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.

food was delicious, service was okay… i asked for her recommendation between two dishes and she said i don’t know. there was also a roach crawling on the wall in our booth/corner table, we let the server know and she killed it with her hand🤣

My boyfriend and I ate at this place around 7:20 pm today. Service was absolutely GARBAGE and incredibly rude. I’m never the type of person to leave a terrible review but our server, the Asian guy in the round black glasses and a black shirt, tall with a big build, was incredibly bothered by our presence for some reason? My boyfriend was trying to order a create your own and as he was listing the ingredients, the server visibly loudly sighed in our faces, but it wasn’t even a regular sigh, it was a super bothered one as he picked up a notepad to take our order. Even when we called him over to take our order because we’d been waiting for a good amount of time, he seemed super annoyed and like he hated his life.

When the food arrived, my boyfriend’s food was also really cold and uncooked. My food had zero taste or salt in it and I had to ask for extra.

This is literally the first time we didn’t tip because yall do not deserve it LOL. Don’t come here. Awful AWFUL service and even worse food. Find people that don’t hate their jobs as servers.

Got there for dinner and we loved it. Except the wait time to get in there everything was good. We were a group of 6 and were happy with the services. I would like to go again if there is chances. Highly recommended 👍

I am a big fan of Flaming Kitchen. I always ordered the same thing everytime I go to one of their branches: The Super Deluxe Teppanyaki. But my visit to FK Vaughan was quite underwhelming and ended up disappointed. I always ordered the same and always had the same excitement but the meat here is quite different; even the veggies (corn and cabbage). I did not even taste or see the cabbage that I ordered. Service is better on the Yonge location as well.

I always miss the food here! I came for dinner on Tuesday night. The food always tastes the same, very excellent! The young lady that served me always knows exactly what I want, and she always gets me whatever I need right away!- But I don’t really like being watched while I eat.. some people stare and I hope that aspect can be improved.

I went to eat around 7 or 8 pm on a Monday evening and ordered a cheese rice cake. The rice cake was undercooked and still raw inside. The sauce on the cheese rice cake tasted sour. While I was eating, there was a woman at the front desk wearing a red apron. I don't know if she was a waitress, but she kept watching me eat. I don't know why she kept watching me eat. I don't believe anyone would like someone staring at them while they eat. The experience was disappointing and made me feel like I was being watched.

I tried the mini hot pot here today—the flavor was excellent. Both the vegetables and meat were fresh. I ordered the tom yum broth base, which wasn't overly spicy and was perfectly tolerable for me. The server was very thorough in explaining what came with the mini hot pot.

Today I tried the absolutely delicious black truffle scallop spaghetti. I loved it—this was my first time at this restaurant. The server was exceptionally friendly and gave me lots of recommendations. I really enjoyed the food and service here, and I'll definitely be back with my friends.especially thanks to Olivia

Came back here after a while and made me realize why I had stopped coming. I came in yesterday around 9pm and ordered 4 items. Only 2 out of the 4 items were good. My husband ordered the angus steak and it had so much blood coming out of it, I had asked the server to please have it cooked abit longer. The spicy chicken noodles weren’t cooked long enough either which only makes it seem like the kitchen staff was clearly rushing. Before ordering the noodles I had asked if I can substitute the chicken with corn since I didn’t like the chicken (mind you I have been doing this for the past 2 years and it’s never a problem- asked for this in several locations) the server gives me the worst attitude saying it can’t be done. I’m pretty sure it would be much cheaper to have half a can of corn in replacement of chicken but Ofc I wasn’t able to get that instead I just got attitude which was unnecessary. The rice cake and edamame were alright. Probably won’t be back though…
