We visited the restaurant and ordered the Cod with chips and the fries were pretty good but he gave us 2 small packets of tartar sauce (should be a small container to spread over the 2 big fillets) and the fish was mushy - most likely overcooked. Ate half and threw out the rest. Not a good experience and will not be going back.

After a long hiatus I went to Kings. The management is different and the food awful. I ordered 2 Halibut combos for take out. The fish was overcooked, greasy and the batter chewed!! Last time I was there there had the best crusty batter! Not now! The fries also were overcooked, brown black and soggy. I only live 3 minutes away from the restaurant!!! Will NOT be returning and will have to search for another chip place. It was very disappointing as we looked forward to having the great KING FISH AND CHIPS again!
SO, THE WORST FISH AND CHIPS EVER and the coleslaw was not great either!
PS. While the girl at the cash was okay she was not the friendliest or most welcoming!

Awesome Fish and chips as well as the restaurant is very spacious, clean and inviting.
The Cod did NOT seem to be Cod. It was mushy not flaky. The Shrimp was so overcooked they were hard. The batter was NOT drained, so was GREASY.

French fries over cooked to a slight taste of burnt is coming out. The tarter sauce in the store does not taste like tarter sauce or anything else, Yet they have the largest portions of fish around. Good for the fish, but not for the chips.
