EDITED - On Second thought, just went back in the other day, and the prices were apparently higher than what was shown on the menu and we found out when we received the bill.

Waitress was in an apparent rush and brushed it off blaming us saying we shouldve ask them which is diabolical.

Food is pretty good usually service is good too maybe just a bad day💔

Excellent service. Food was above par. Great spot to go on a date, with family or for just a quick bite to eat. Definitely recommend.
(Edited): to circle back, I came here with my friend around 10pm. Only one server for the entire dining room. We were willing to look past that and didn’t mind waiting. The tempura sushi we ordered was very hard and crunchy, stale even. Worst of all, we ordered off the regular menu and when we got the bill the price was jacked up by about 10$ because the prices on the menu “weren’t up to date” with the current prices. Apparently we should’ve asked before ordering if the prices were going to be higher? Used to be my favourite spot now I don’t know if I’ll even give it a second chance. Shameful 💔

Service is terrible. Placed an order at 5:30 for pickup and placed it to be picked up at 6:30. Ended up waiting 40 mins for my order and it wasn’t until I called and said I had someone waiting there and they’ve been waiting for so long. They provided NO communication to us that there was a delay. I’ve ordered here multiple times and never had any issues until today. Extremely disappointed. They didn’t even offer anything as a way of saying sorry. Service needs to be improved and do not order on weekends because they are clearly too busy and can’t handle it. It should not have taken 40 minutes for my order to be ready from the time i’ve placed it. If there are delays they need to let customers know. Extremely frustrating. This place is clearly known for having terrible service but they don’t do anything to fix it. Read online that they actually make the order once you pay and you’re at the store which is ridiculous especially if you’re placing it way ahead. Never seen a place more unorganized it makes absolutely no sense. Terrible terrible!

Kyoto is great. Sometimes when I’m in Vaughan I start craving it. It calls my name in the night, making my mouth water and stomach rumble. For an AYCE place it’s pretty good. I’ve been to a few of those 400 dollar per person Omakase restaurants, and honestly, I’d pick Kyoto over those any day. It’s cheap, it’s good. And their delivery is pretty great as well.

This place is a disaster. Order on line … go to pick up 20 min later… they don’t put in your order until you arrive and pay…. There is 20 people in the waiting area all waiting over an hour!!!! They are rude… they have some cash deal going on should call CRA.

Wanted to get a drink Saturday night and they couldn’t check for the booze in their shelf cause she said she was busy. Bad service… why sell booze if you don’t sell it derrr…..

I give this place 5 stars all around!!! My coworkers and I went in an hour before closing and they still sat us down and gave us excellent service. The food was way better than any other all you can eat restaurant i’ve been to. I recommended it to all of my friends and family and I will be returning!!

Absolutely garbage service, don't risk it. I placed an order for pickup 3 days in advance, just some rolls for a party I was hosting. The order was supposed to be ready by 5pm. I get there on time and proceed to pay for my order while they go in the back to "look for it". Turns out they only started prepping the order once I showed up and after waiting for 30 minutes, I asked for a refund and to cancel the order as I was now super late and upset. The cashier refuses to refund me and keeps saying "it's coming sir don't worry". Had to wait another 10 minutes as they would not give me my money back. 40 minute wait for an order I had placed 3 days prior. GARBAGE place, don't give them your money
