Terrible Experiece at Kyoto Sushi - Do Not recommend! My recent visit to Kyoto Sushi was nothing short of disappointing. I brought my two nieces along, one being 19 and the other just 12 years old. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option for two adults and one child.Upon informing the staff of our choice, they immediately questioned my younger niece's age, which was already uncomfortable for her. Instead of addressing me, they directed all their inquiries and demands for ID solely at her, which was incredibly intimidating for a 12-year-old.When I offered to pay for three adult meals if they were uncomfortable with the child rate, the server reluctantly accepted but insisted that next time she must have ID. This initial interaction left a bitter taste. To add insult to injury, when the bill arrived, it was charged for three adult meals. They deceitfully split the bill into two line items, seemingly to mask the fact that they were charging for two adults and one child. Despite paying the full bill and even tipping generously, equivalent to the cost of an all-you-can-eat meal, I felt compelled to voice my disappointment to the manager.Money wasn't the issue here; it was the treatment we received. I felt embarrassed and disheartened by the entire ordeal. It's disheartening that my niece was judged based on her appearance. This experience was beyond unacceptable, and I will not be returning to Kyoto Sushi. It's a shame that such prejudice and poor customer service exist in today's world. I would rate this experience zero stars if I could. Avoid Kyoto Sushi at all costs.

Best sushi to get that’s a good price for what you’re getting, I wish it was closer but it’s worth the distance!

I went here a few weeks ago with my two toddlers. My husband was supposed to join us and ended having to go back to work. The service was THE WORST I have ever experienced. I was literally cleaning up my own table. Luckily we were at the back and there was a ledge by the window. When the waitress would finally show up, I’d ask for ‘a lot of napkins’ since I’m with 2 kids and she kept bringing one. I was getting up and getting napkins from the empty tables around us.The food wasn’t fresh and not everything came. It was so bad I decided to get up and leave before we finished eating. To top it off, the waitress tried to charge me for the ‘extra’ food. She’s lucky my kids were with me and I had to be calm. AND she charged me for my 2 year old who literally ate rice, but I just wanted to get out of there.TERRIBLE

This place is absolutely unorganized, horrible pickup system in place, advising customers to come within 15-20 minutes and taking upwards of an hour to receive order, most of the time they miss parts of the order due to their rush, mean while it should be reverse , they should work on customer support while they have customers still, this is what happens when Chinese run a Japanese restaurant, it’s high sodium low class absolute disgusting service

Every time i order I waste about 1 hour of my day, based on this place advising to come within 15-20 minutes, it is unacceptable, rude and have zero appreciation to their customer based, I just waited to come today and I waited over 30 minutes based on my past experience but guess what I waited again about 20 more minutes at the place and they had 1 table with guests. This is the last time I eat from here after years of being a loyal customer

We dined and tried to eat as a family in this place and there are a lot of cons this place has:1. Incomplete food served2. Rude Servers3. Slow flow of providing food order.4. Poor Customer Service5. When followed up with the order, RUDE ATTITUDE is shown by the staff!Only pros is that the food is good.

Here's my honest review of Kyoto Japanese cuisine. It's a Chinese run restaurant that aspires to be a Japanese restaurant. The food is high in sodium and MSG. You can always expect the service to be unfriendly.Despite having a computer systems to transfer your order to the kitchen they will regularly bring your order out with missing items. Ordered unagi sushi 3 times and never once recieved. The food is below average, resembling fast food take out sushi. Sashimi comes out ice cold with a gray tint. The hot food from the kitchen comes out dry and it can be attributed to it being re-heated.I was once a regular years ago when the price was below $20. But at $34.99 for dinner service, money is better spent on food that tastes fresh.Food that doesn't live up to expectations coupled with unfriendly customer service puts an off taste to your evening.Unfortunately, I do not recommend and I'll not revisit until there is a change in ownership.

Food was good , but the waitresses didn’t bring everything we ordered. Plus, the restrooms were left in very unhygienic conditions.
