Disgusted! I called on Saturday to make a reservation. Back story- my father asks for very little. So, when he has a specific request especially for father’s day, I felt it was important for me to hold to that. He loves pizza, and my Family has dined here a few times and for the most part enjoyed the food. He was looking forward to going here for Father’s Day. When I called to inquire about a reservation, I was shocked and disgusted at how the individual picked up and responded on the phone. Initially shouting ‘MASTRO’s!’, however briefly cut out on my end so I repeated to be sure I had the correct place. His response was ‘ya, very busy, confirmations what do you want? hurry up’ I was shocked that any kind of respectable Establishment would pickup the phone to greet possible customers this way. How disappointing. I immediately hung up. What a waste of my time and I refuse to put money in the pocket of people who don’t value the business citizens want to give them. It felt like as a possible customer we don’t have a time to even speak to you on the phone. If you don’t want to answer phone reservations- offer to make reservations online. It would be much more pleasant than dealing with the rude ignorance I had to listen to on the other end of the phone. So disappointing. And I will never book or eat here again. Turned off.

We recently hosted our daughter’s communion at Mastro Roberto, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, the team was absolutely amazing. They were incredibly accommodating, making each guest feel special and welcomed. The service was seamless—food started coming out immediately as guests arrived, and everything flowed perfectly throughout the event. The food was exceptional—every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Anytime I asked for something, the response was always, “I’m on it, leave it with me”—and they truly delivered every time. Thank you to the staff for helping make such an important day so memorable. Highly recommend!

I called to make a reservation for an early dinner, and the person who answered the phone responded to my question very rudely. Ended up cancelling the reservation and he responded like he was happy that I canceled my reservation.

I chose this place because I really love Italian cuisine, but the experience was somewhat mixed. The food was half good: the mozzarella was just a regular store-bought version with a bland tomato. Normally, I buy delicious tomatoes and homemade mozzarella, so I expected something similar here, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the case. We asked for an extra portion of prosciutto, priced at $5, but the bill showed $10. Okay, but what we got was just four tiny slices that were far from tasty.

On the positive side, the pasta was excellent. The portion was so large that it was almost too much, and they kindly offered to pack the leftovers. Definitely a plus there. The focaccia with herbs was also a great surprise.

As for the service, I had some concerns. It felt like if you’re not Italian (who were all greeted with smiles), they were eager to rush you out, adding a couple of extra items to your bill, like a glass of wine you might not even have noticed.

The biggest positive, however, was the speed of service. Both the waitstaff and chefs were impressively fast.

We entered the restaurant at 8:30 having checked hours said open until 10.
Was trying to have a nice celebratory meal with my girlfriend. We ordered light so as to not be an issue. Calamari was ok. Could’ve used a dip or sauce. Pizza was good. But while we were still eating, food literally in hand and chewing, our plates and cutlery were taken away by another server and we were quickly brought the bill and rushed out. I’m home, it’s 9:38 as I write this.
$80 for a calamari, pizza and 2 glasses of wine
You pay for the ambiance but I was treated like I ordered fast food.
Won’t go back, many elevated Italian options where I won’t feel like my business is a problem.
