Nice Nigerian restaurant with great catering options

Before discovering Mommy’s Kitchen Lounge, I used to order from several African restaurants—but none truly satisfied me until now. The food here is exceptional—delicious, of outstanding quality, and surprisingly affordable. I visited their location at 4370 Steeles Avenue West, Vaughan, ON L4L 4Y4, and was equally impressed by how spotless the kitchen was. The food is prepared in an extremely clean and hygienic environment, and the staff are incredibly polite and courteous.
I couldn’t be more impressed.
Mommy’s Kitchen Lounge is, without a doubt, the very best.

Such a lovely place to eat with tasty food and amazing customer service. I had ordered Okra soup and poundo yam with moi-moi and some drinks. She was out of okra and made sure to call me severally to let me know that she would add a replacement instead. Despite me not being able to pick up in the moment, she went on to leave several messages to let me know of the change and apologized severally. I got my order and it was a different soup which I quite frankly didn’t mind. However, she went on to even add an extra plate of jollof rice and turkey that I hadn’t ordered as compensation for not having okra. This is one of the best services I’ve received from an African restaurant in Toronto. Shout out to you ma’am and Godbless!!!!

Ordered the white rice & tomato stew, as well as the white rice and Ofada. The stew was very good, nice and spicy with an assortment of meats!

We had the ofada stew and assorted stew with white rice, it is so good!!!
We also ordered Nkwobi, it was delicious and a lot of meat.
They serve really large portions, we took a lot of the food home. 10/10 experience, please try it!
