Dined at Osteria Gente this past Saturday. My wife and I ordered from the specials of the day menu. Everything was superb. A selective wine list, and wonderful cocktails. The fritti calamari, shrimp and smelts, crispy, tender and delicious. Service was attentive but not in the way. A huge shout out to Abby, who was wonderful and helped make this a special night out. Liked everything about our dining experience that before leaving the restaurant I booked for a group of six two weeks out. Abby helped set that up too. So yes, obviously I would recommend you try Osteria Gente. Can't wait for our return visit.

Visited Osteria Gente last evening with a large group. Menu was preselected for us. We indulged in a fabulous selection of appetizers, salad, pasta, steak, vegetables and dessert platters... oh and of course beverages! Service was incredible (met the owners, whom gave hugs all around, allowed us to give our compliments to the chef and enjoyed in some chit chat with us). It is family friendly but has a truly elevated experience. Worth the drive back!

We had this amazing lunch meal of focaccia and lasagna and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. We were a large group of adaptive and upright mountain bikers and we were well fed and happy after this yummy food. Thank you so much for fueling up our big group ❤️
We chose this restaurant because we were really craving Italian food. While the ambiance was quite nice and the food itself was good, the service really fell short. Despite visiting on a quiet Monday lunch with only a handful of tables, it felt like we were completely forgotten once our order was placed. Our experience was marred by an incorrect order and the fact that we had to ask to be served bread.

In town from Yellowknife NWT for work, and found this place while looking for a dinner spot. Jan took incredible care of our group, and his recommendations for food and drink were perfect. The food was fresh and prepared with care, and it showed with every bite. The service from the entire staff was top notch. Our server Jan didn’t lead us wrong with his recommendations for food, and the wine he recommended paired wonderfully.

TOP NOTCH SERVICE!!! Wow I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the service was! We celebrated my sister’s surprise 40th birthday dinner here and from the moment we arrived Laurie went above and beyond for us! Our group of servers went ABOVE and BEYOND for us! Our table of 17 was treated with the utmost respect and all of our requests were met with enthusiasm. I’m not local to Woodbridge but I would happily come back to Osteria Gente again! Thank you!!!
