Poor management and attitude of a business owner! What kind of owner yells in a condescending way to their staff in front of customers? Although we like the food, the owner is rude, ruthless and doesn’t understand customer service. For that - we will never be going back to this location.
I had called in my order only to arrive and realize that they missed making my order. Fine, although I was pressed for time to feed my kids - another 15 min meant they would just have to eat quicker to make it in time for practice. The person at the counter took accountability and to make it right, advised that we’d be compensated with a reimbursement. Great!
In comes the owner (who apparently was outside cleaning his car), Friday night - dinner time, only 3 people staffed btw, hears about the situation and has the audacity to say to us that we’ve been only waiting 15 min and say what do you expect - it’s Friday.
Unnecessarily we were waiting for 15 min although we had ordered 20 minutes ago, and to have the audacity to say we haven’t been waiting too long and the excuse is that it’s a Friday! If you know you’re busy then have more staff, don’t be out cleaning your car during peak times and learn how to lead by example.
Once he found out that we were to be comp’d for the inconvenience he yells at the top of his lungs “who told her she can get a reimbursement?!?!” You felt the awkwardness and the tension, and get a sense this isn’t the first time he has yelled at his staff.
After many back and forths we just wanted our pizza and didn’t fuss about the reimbursement we didn’t get, as losing a customer who is active in the community will be a greater loss to a ruthless owner who has very little understanding of what it takes to be a good leader.
I hope the employees find a more desirable place of employment, Pizza Nova up the street on Weston owned by Andrew is a great example of how a business should be run. Although we have it too often, what always brings us back is how the staff can relate to the customers.
Pizzaville on Weston and Rutherford, you’ve lost a customer and seeing how you deal with people, it won’t be the last. Give more to your employees and you will be surprised at how much you get back… and by giving I don’t mean money, but respect and empathy. Leadership is the art of getting people to do something because they want to, and I hope you find ways to reinvent yourself.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at pizzavillewas truly disappointing. I was looking forward to enjoying a nice meal, but the person in charge ruined the whole experience with their rude attitude. Not only were they unhelpful, but they actually talked back to me when I tried to address a simple issue with my order. I felt like they had no respect for customers at all. Instead of listening and resolving the problem, they made the situation worse with their dismissive and hostile behavior.
It’s such a shame because the food might be decent, but with service like that, I won’t be going back. If you’re looking for a place that treats customers with respect, I’d recommend looking elsewhere."

Pizza is good. Customer service is horrible. We have been going to this location since they opened. They messed up on my order. It was written correctly but it was wrong. I took it back for a refund. Not an apology, not a word. Just gave my money back.Update. Pizzaville.ca reached out to me after they read this review and apologized and gave me no compensation until I asked. They were willing to give me a $5.00 credit.That's an insult. I told them to keep it and I will be spreading the word on the horrible customer service. Unreal
staff are really nice and patient. however, there was false advertising. there was a sign that displayed a pizza indicating a price of $15.99. when we asked for that particular pizza, they told us it was a gourmet pizza and the actual price is $19.99. which is extremely deceiving. the pizza wasn’t bad. but i’m a bit disappointed. great customer service.

A good pizza starts with a good dough and a good dough is complimented with a good sauce. Unfortunately both were disappointing. Inspite of added chilli flakes and garlic hardly any flavour, very mediocre at best. You'll need to step up your game to be in competition otherwise need to wrap up the business. Good luck
