Ordered dinner for the family — not only was it 30 minutes late, but they forgot half the order. When I went in to ask for the missing items, the staff were straight-up rude, no apology, just annoyed looks. And the sushi? Warm, mushy, and smelled strange.

Decent pricing, (cheaper than other sushi restaurants in the area) service is ok. I usually go for their all you can eat lunch. Don't order too much at once, I find they always miss a few things and I have to reorder the same thing again.

I’ve been coming to Sake Sushi for 7+ years now. While the quality of the rolls isn’t the best, the rest of the ALCE menu is good for the price. However, service has gone downhill significantly to the point where I would NOT return until things improve.
First, I recently noticed that they started adding a 15% automatic gratuity to a table of 5 without this being a written or verbally communicated policy. If this was clearly disclosed from the beginning I wouldn’t have any issues. It’s an issue because they sneak it in the bill after providing zero service the entire time (other than bringing the plate to the table). People should decline paying this “tip” since it’s not disclosed and they have the right to refuse, but I didn’t notice until it was too late (I also paid cash). You can also do a chargeback to your bank if you get scammed like this. I hate businesses who do sneaky things like this. This is how you lose returning customers and how you eventually lose your business.
Secondly, the service is not good. They are not welcoming. They are regularly bringing the wrong order, or more pieces than you ordered, or just forgetting your order. If you ordered 2 scallops for example, they bring you 6. I really don’t understand why they can’t properly count each order.
Thirdly, the quality of the rolls and sashimi isn’t the best. Specifically, the fish doesn’t taste that fresh. I can’t eat the sashimi here at all. But they recently added 2 torched sushi options which were good. They should have more torched options considering that majority of AYCE dinner have torched sushi. The other dishes are good and that’s what I mainly come for (scallops, cheese wontons, calamari).
