Food was very enjoyable, the pizza was really good and the eggplant came with grilled veggies, also very good. 1 vegan option on the menu. They generally don't like making alterations from the menu which I understand. They state it clearly on the menu. But I would expect at least offer a few vegan options. I would return and recommend

Sapore has become a beloved Italian culinary landmark in Woodbridge, Vaughan. The chef here adds a delightful twist to traditional Italian dishes, consistently elevating every meal. Over the years, Sapore has hosted several of my personal milestones, from my first date with my wife and our engagement party to celebrating my father-in-law's 65th birthday. They have always been incredibly accommodating, handling parties of all sizes, from 13 to 60 people, with ease.

The chefs at Sapore are exceptionally skilled, ensuring all dishes are served simultaneously, hot and fresh, something that really stands out in my experiences here. Whether it's a small gathering or a large celebration, the quality and service never waver.

For anyone in Vaughan seeking a top quality Italian dining experience, I highly recommend Sapore. It's not just about the food, but the consistently wonderful experience they offer.

What an amazing experience I had at Sapore, with amazing food, service and drinks! Highly recommend to anyone in the GTA wanting delicious Italian food with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

The restaurant wasn't very full on a Monday night. We started off with the focaccia and pear + goat cheese salad, they both were amazing. For mains we had the Sapore seafood gnocchi and the cheese stuff gnocchi. The stuffed gnocchi was amazing, the seafood a little too fishy.

Good food (one of the better Italian food places in the area) but we were not happy with the customer service at all. Seems to be recurring pattern here - have come in the past and received poor customer service, likely will not be returning. I recommend it for take out if anything. Booked a large party (15-20 people) for a friend’s birthday; we asked via phone and confirmed that they split the bills and staff on the phone advices it is possible so we made reservations. First, the staff did not remember (or pay attention) to who ordered what and the serving was disorganized. Some in the party had to guess what was being served and figure out who got what because they left the plates in the middle of the table, as opposed to serving individuals their dishes. After dining and paying the bill was the real nightmare. The same staff who we had spoken to over the phone to make the reservations, served us one large bill; saying we can either pay it all together or split it 15 ways (people would be paying for food they did not eat) and she did not want to do singular/split bills because “…otherwise we’d be here for 45 minutes”. Did not make sense for someone to pay $80 and cover food that they did not consume, if the only thing they got was a $20 pizza. And if you can split the bill by the EXACT number of guests…what’s the difference between just having someone pay their own bill? As was advised to us over the phone. Had to speak to manager; who said we can split and everyone paid their own bills in under 15 minutes. More time was wasted going back and forth with the server, having to go talk to the manager, and ensuring they split the bill - than the actual individual payments. This is also the second time this has happened at this location. Larger parties; beware.

Go there for the food and if you bring a crew and don't want to be embarrassed by bringing your guest to poor quality food and taste. This restaurant is very good at food they prepare. Right portion size for the mains- Not tiny for birds, not vulgar for Barbarians, just right. Very good food taste quality and food material quality as well as cooking skill.

Atmosphere is ok. Nothing to write home about.

Service sadly lives up to Italian restaurant stereotype, namely- rudeness, arrogance.
I will still go there again and take my guests there until a better food and service option comes along. For those who want a food state experience you will not be ashamed of, take your guests here.
