I had a wonderful dining experience at Sapore by Zafferano. The calamari was perfectly breaded and cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The hand pizza was absolutely stellar, with a wonderfully crunchy crust from the stone oven and immaculately seasoned sauce. The wagyu hamburger was phenomenal, juicy and flavorful, and the pasta was incredibly well seasoned and cooked al dente. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and cozy, including the bathroom. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine.Dietary restrictions: It says on the menu they encourage you to enjoy the chefs creations no customizations. You have to respect that. Eat the food how the Chef intended.Parking: The parking lot is shared with many other businesses and a Tim's. Tons of parking even if not that close to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: It's a nice sitdown restaurant that also has a hottable. They had a high chair for my kid so it's kid friendly to me.

I made reservations in early December I was told could I come earlier than noon because they get busy missing the whole point once I got there The server told me how much he loved his job and been there for 30 years fair enough we ordered two pizzas for my guest and I I asked if I could just have a simple pizza with green peppers, onions and tomato. The server told me I’ll see what I can do, what I got was nothing close to what I ordered. It was their version of pizza with roasted red peppers only without explanation without apology. I did not complain. I paid their exorbitant prices. I couldn’t eat at all, and just took it the rest home and threw it out because it was disgusting oily, and , you could do so much better elsewhere. This is the problem when a restaurant thinks it is you being obliged to them rather than them serving you skip the restaurant there’s so many better alternatives in Woodbridge in the GTA.Parking: Once good but no longer

If I could give them 1000 stars, I absolutely would. Lucien waited on us (table of 6 New Brunswick REALTORS®) and it was THE best service we've ever had. The establishment is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice, the portions were huge, the steak was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth, the pasta was fresh and delicious, the mushroom ravioli was to die for, and our faces hurt from Lucien's company. I have no words for how beautiful and funny this human being is. We want to make a special trip from New Brunswick just to bring our families back here to experience this restaurant. Thank you, Sapore and thank you, Lucien.

I had the pleasure of dinning here with colleagues two weeks ago while in Vaughan for a conference and it was by far the best service I have ever experienced. Lucien is a true professional with the best sense of humour and attention to detail. Sapore is lucky to have him. The food was wonderful with generous portions and the best steak I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. We will be back!

For the price tag, I was expecting good service and good food but there really wasn't much of either. We were a party of 8 and were served last and nobody came to check on us unless we flagged down the staff. The automatic gratuity was not warranted for this place. I will not go there again, let alone recommend to anyone.
