I did not go to this restaurant but trip advisor will not post the review unless you specify the day you went so I had to put that I did.. that tells you something when you haven’t even gone and this is the experience I had with them.. I spoke to the owner of Sapore by Zafferano in Woodbridge ON and made a reservation for 9 people for April 22nd ‘23 for 5:30 pm for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Once booked, he repeated the time and date and it was all confirmed. I then called back half an hour later to ask if I could bring my own cake. He stated my name acknowledging the reservation and once again confirmed the time and date. On April 15 we had a missed call from the restaurant… I called them back, and the female employee answered. I told her who I was and she remembered the reservation. I stated I received a missed call from them. She told me to hold and the owner came on the phone. The owner asked me why I was not there and I proceeded to tell him that April 22nd was the reservation not April 15. He said he did not book anything for April 22 and it was for the 15th… I told him that I spoke with him twice and he confirmed both times the reservations for April 22 at 5:30. He was rude and condescending and told me there is no way that we could book anything for the 22nd as they are booked for 3-4months in advance… I then said well how could we have gotten a reservation for the 15th then? He then said what do you want me to do with a sarcastic laugh and I told him to fix the problem…he said too bad can’t do anything for you and still insisted it was me.. he said do you really want to come here and sit with a family of 45 for a first communion celebration? Then I realized what he did… He tried to make it look like I messed up the dates when in fact, he bumped us off the list to get a greater party, and make more money… I told him this was unjust and that I would write a bad review and he verbatim said whatever and hung up..the plot thickens… I called another restaurant and told them what had happened and he told me that another family had the same problem with this restaurant and that they did the same thing to them… of course, this is a blessing in disguise, because in no way would I ever walk into that restaurant… Furthermore, the owner is a coward… The fact that he could not even own up to what he did or offer us any compensation was beyond disgusting… I’m sure the party of 45 will be treated like royalty, and they will have nothing bad to say about them ..if the family of 45 who has a communion celebration on April 22, 2023 is reading this, please know that two families got bumped off the list for your event… and to the owner … I would not want to step foot in your restaurant… Your morals and values are completely out of whack, and if you can go to bed at night with a smile on your face, thinking, you’re a good person… You’re not… You should be ashamed of yourself being a grown man yet too cowardly to own up to your wrongdoings and realize what you did was wrong… nice as pie when you first took the reservation but your true colours came out..In the end, you will lose more than gain… Truly disgusting…but I am looking forward to celebrating my parents wedding anniversary at a beautiful restaurant with the owner who had such a beautiful heart and he’s going out of his way to make this day special for us… Thank you to him but to you, the owner of Sapore by Zafferano, I only thank you for allowing me the opportunity to tell others about this but also thank you for giving me the pleasure of NOT coming to your restaurant .. you should be ashamed on the person you’ve become.. ..and if you’re not well rhst should tell you something

This spot obviously knows how to serve their customers. Constantly with a nice demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always tasty and neat.
Awesome and delightful food, I loved the mood this place has, and the cashiers were kind. I will definitely come back again.

Random Size Servings Random sizes of pasta served. I was there with 18 people and and a few of us were served a plate of pasta that was embarrassing if I were the owner of this place. What ever size was served was delicious but come on. Really??? Past is the cheapest thing that can be purchased. A few of us left hungry. Not good.
